    Jacque: glad you got to clear your head and walk today but hate that you had to. Must be having just one of those days. I plan on doing a workout of some sort today. If its not raining I may see if my 4 year old wants to walk. She loves to get out too and since I seem to not be able to get to the gym I need to do something. I have to try and get motivated and go in the morning before work but I would have to be up at 4:30am and get there by 5am and I just dont think my alarm clock has a 4 or 5am:wink:

    I want to get motivated again this week. This weekend has really thrown me for a loop and not wanting to get myself back on track. Help me out plz!! :sad:

    othan than that I hope everyone else is having a better hump day....its slow at my work and wish someone would just open the flood gates and give everyone the need to come in. I need something to do....ahhhhh!!!

    Jacque~ Some days I have to do that too! I do cme back much more refreshed and with alot more patientce.

    Kitn~ My 5 year old loves to go for walks with me. When his legs tucker out I give him a piggy back ride. This lets us go farther and gives me a little more of a burn.

    Well I will not be excercising for at least the next week. I just got back from the dr and I have strep throught for the second time this month. I will be taking it easy to finally kick this thing to the curb.

    Getting my water in for today and I totally got it in for yesterday!
    Did my squats late lastnight IN THE SHOWER!! How easy is that!:laugh: :laugh: It was funny but I did forget about them and remembered in the shower so i did the sets right then and there!
    Snacking on my kid's goldfish right now But I am roaring to go!

    Well it a good thing I went for a walk we got lunch today and it was chineese and i pig out!, so I def have to get a work out in after work.
    Kin-I so know what you mean about trying to exercise before work that would be just to hard,esp since my teenagers don't feel they can get up for school without mom yelling all the way to the bus stop. So I work out after work.But being said yours is only 4 and that a difficult age to do stuff if you don't have help. So do your squats and do little things just to keep moving. My sister favorite thing is when she folding laundry is after folding one peice put it away then come back and do it again. You get alot of movement that way.

    I got my water in yesterday. Well on my way today.

    Squaters: I did my day two squats today. I can already tell that I am stronger... but still a long way to go.

    jacque--you know i do something like that with my laundry. when I have to hang things up I will put things in the other room and hang one thing up at a time. Going back and forth from room to room. And even do lunges every now and then when I walk .

    hiya greenies, sorry i don't check in but it's like the first time i opened my laptop since i arrived here on Monday... it's been crazy, i've been running all day for so many days, my feet and everything hurts, i am so exhausted i almost collapsed today...i've also been losing tons of weight lately which makes me feel even weaker... i don't have time to log my food so i might be undereating, too... there are hardly any good grocieries here so i can't even buy me some general veggies and fruit... it's still early for most of ours in the garden... Monday and Friday are the market days in the town, i missed it on Monday so i'll go on Friday and let's hope they will have some good stuff there... for now i try to at least drink lots of water cos i work out in the sun at the garden, my mouth gets dry all the time...

    i hope things will settle down later in the week, then i'll write more often

    HI Green Team Buddies ~

    had a field trip today....one more to go and then i am done for the school year!! YIPPY!! i will be driving middle school and high school baseball for 3 wks this summer. first time in many years that i have had more time off then more time driving. i can't wait....have so much i want to get done here, inside and out....the list is getting longer every day!

    my mom called me yesterday and guess what? i am going to VEGAS!! Allegiant Air has a buy one get one free, so she along with her sister ( my aunt, um, real mom ) and my sister are all going! A girly trip! i am so EXCITED!! 2 months from today!! 62 days and counting!!

    this has put me in a pretty good mood and i am like re-devoted to my lifestyle overhaul.....i am going to try harder at being more healthier with eating and push myself to 'do more' in my exercising. also, today while i was waiting for the kids to finish up their tour, i was in Walmart....i could not believe it, i put on a size 12 jeans! :noway: it has been over 13 years!!!!!! so, that motivated me even more!! i am hopin' that i will be even smaller in a few months when i get to my goal, when i might even consider going down more, since i will still be in the overwt bmi. we'll see!

    azwildcat ~ you are doing so good with everything!! keep it up!

    shannon ~ i like your attitude.....need to hear that, i know you can do it! 11 more to go!

    christie ~ rain here too, and actually not really predicted, but we really need it as things were drying up. are or were you guys in a drought? hope things settle down for y'all soon. we had a frost last week and i was amazed at all the leaves that fell off our trees...no shade there any more! :ohwell:

    jacque ~ ohh, how wonderful to get to go back to WA. i am happy for you!! i must also say, good job in turning to exercise when the stress started to build up! positive behavior there!

    missheidi ~ those wii's are pretty intense. have heard a lot of good things about them. have fun at the zoo, drink lots of water....the walking will be great!

    kitn ~ i used to get up for work at 3:30 am every day.....don't miss that anymore, but i understand the frustration those early am's can cause. i actually had to quit my job b/c it was too much for me.....my dh worked 3rd, and our boys were 2 yrs and a baby. it was a tough decision, but somehow we managed.

    aml~ oh hun, strep, do take care. get some good rest. do you have your tonsils? my son had a bout of strep, 3 cases in 4 mos, and he ended up having a T & A @ 18 yrs. no probs now.

    vita ~glad you are feeling better!! lol, sqats in the shower...well, at least you got them in! and you were right there to shower if you were sweatin! ohhhh, the possibilities!! any thing you can imagine people!! JUST MOVE!! :laugh:

    purr ~good to hear from you....hope the move is going ok. please be very careful.....not to run yourself ragged. don't want to have your body get run down and then get sick. body needs fuel and nutrition!! mmmmm,t he market! i went to my first one last sunday....got me some radishes and purple/red romaine lettuce!! hope you have good luck Fri!! YUM!!

    well, 2 more days til weigh in! let's do it guys! get this fat and flab off!

    Ok I got thru this day not too bad, Just did my squats, total 23, bad knee did not like, but was able to finish. 7 glasses of water so far, pretty sure I;ll get 1 more in tonight.

    had a good day today, it was ds's 5th bday. went to the y and wogged (my shins hurt again, darnit.) then walked at the zoo for two hours. we went to chuck e cheese for his bday dinner and the parties will be this weekend! i'm really tired. it's been a LONG day.
    oh wait. i did get my water in. :drinker:

    Kellya: I went to vegas last august and had a blast. I think there is more to do there than you can fit in, no matter how much time you have there. But, watch out for the heat. I live in a similar climate to vegas and it still hit me, just because of how much time you walk around outside.

    aml - sorry to hear you have strep again! you need to beat that for once and for all!!! take it easy and hydrate! I only had my virus thingy for 24 hours but still have not really felt recovered - a bit weak and not sure if I can poot :laugh: :laugh: take care of yourself

    purr - you're so on the go, be careful to not undereat too much! can't wait to hear an update from ya

    kellya - vegas - :drinker: a fun place if there ever was one. me and the bf tried to be ambitious and walk all the hotels - girl, they are alot further apart than they look :laugh: back a few years ago they still had some free shows with only two drink minimums, those were fun - we also loved the grand canyon and hoover dam - but not sure on your time allowances......where are you staying? know yet?

    sounds like the rest of you are doing great and once again Jacque, I cannot thank you enough for moderating and keeping the kids inline!:smooched:

    wanted to let you know I was half through my water intake. I have really been slacking the last week. Lots of birthdays this last part of may, graduations coming up (step daughter for one) and I am trying to plan vacations, and even an anniversary coming up.
    So much to do and NO time to do it. Gym time will not be happening today or maybe even tomorrow. Going this weekend though....i will do it!!!!
    I hope everyone else is doing great.
    I know i have to keep trying and when I get down, I dont need to let that keep from starting over and pushing my way over that bump in the road. I will do it!! I will succeed!!!:drinker: :drinker:

    Hi all, have not read through the forums for a couple days...been outa town. Just wanted to report, that I gained 2 pounds... (water cause of my TOM) my back is 100% better so now I get to start working out and I am finally back from my grannies!

    Hope you all are doing well....gonna go through and read all.

    1/2 day left of school!! YIPPY ! kids on bus route are going nuts! have dr appt w/cardiologist in the am...dh and youngest son leave for Canada mid-late afternoon. i am sooo looking forward to the next 6-7 days to MYSELF!!

    jacque ~ how is your knee doing...hope it is on the mend! be careful!

    heidi ~ sounds like your ds had a nice bday!

    azwildcat ~ will be in vegas 3 nites, not sure what all we are doing....yeah, my mom is already concerned about the heat. me and my sis will likely hang out together, she is 1 yr younger than i, and my mom will hang with her sis. mom is not in good health and will do NO walking. no rental car either.

    christie ~ i hear on the walking in vegas....same in NYC and DC...things are blocks apart!! GEEZ! i was 17 the last time i was there, and saw Hoover dam and GC then....we'll be hotel/casino bound this time. mom my has us at the Imperial.....?:ohwell: some of the reviews are not good....

    kitn ~ yes, it is a busy time of year.....bbq's, summer holidays and celebrations....we just have to try harder and do good all year long.....make these good habits part of our daily life....

    sassie ~ glad to hear your back is better. easy does it!

    I had all my water and 3 fruits today. Nothing could be any better. Fresh fruits in seasons and ice cold water. and also had fresh squash out of our graden.

    kellya - The IP is not so bad, that's where we saw the free show ironically! We stayed at Harrah's (next door to Imperial) and MGM the second time. There is alot to be said for the older vibe as who really spends that much time in the room other than sleeping anyway?My friends stayed there and were fine with it.......don't worry.

    sass - glad you got to see grannie, she like the honey or what? I see you're counting down till getting married - where are you guys staying in vegas since that is the topic I was responding to kellya on.
