    Bump!

What's a substitute for cottage cheese? I can't imagine myself ever buying that stuff haha Ew.

I made them with part-skim ricotta cheese as cottage cheese is hard to find where I live & they tasted really great.

I love this recipe. I used 1 package of maple flavored oatmeal, 1/2 banana, 1/2 carton of individual egg beaters, almond milk(for consistency balance) and cinnamon and ginger for flavor-made 2 flavorful pankcakes. (didn't need syrup) This recipe is definitely a keeper-thanks for posting it....YUUUUM!

I may try making them with plain greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese in the future. I wonder if this recipe would work with steel cut oats.

Do you use ff cottage cheese, low fat or regular. I want to use the kind used to get the calorie and fat, etc. listed under the recipe. Thanks!

I used fat free cottage cheese. I blended it until it was a batter consistency, then measured it...it made a full 2 cups. I broke that into (4)- 1/2 c. servings. One half cup yielded 3 small, but very filling pancakes for 158 calories! The rest is portioned up and ready for quick breakfasts this week. Great recipe!
