Goal 5,000 for now looking for consistency, (I'm all over the place just want to be close to the same each day)

I don't wear my pedometer but I have been doing Walk It Out and getting a minimum of my 10,000 every day but April 2nd.0

Goal 7000 steps a day since I am at a sedentary job most of the time.
4/1 - 5949 I got most of that the night before when I was dancing. but it was after midnight. I had a restfull day.
4/2 - ??? I forgot my fitbit at home today. but I did go walking at lunch. Generally do about 3500 steps at lunch.
4/3 - 10343 woo hoo.. had to work at the ballpark..
4/4 - 3568 forgot the fit bit at home. used my cell phone app.

How do you enter your pedometer steps into exercise?

I was recording them as strength training (miles/steps/calories) but for April started putting them in as steps for minutes and calories for calories. If your pedometer gives you calories you can try that.
If it doesn't you can use a calculator (google pedometer to calories calculator) to calculate your calories-you'll need to know how many steps you walk in a mile, usually.

Thanks for such a quick response. I did end up creating My Pedometer in Cardiovascular, #steps in minutes (which makes no sense... but allows us to calculate a total) and yes, my ped has calories. So... so far so good! Thanks again!!!0

Im down!! I have started tracking my steps recently anyway!! Its real easy to get in 10,000 steps if I can get on a treadmill that day! :happy:
