I cannot live with out my food processor, i use it for EVERYTHING.

I have also found having silicone mini muffin tins and cupcake tins helpful for portion sizes...like making a big batch of rice or sweet potatoes and freezing it in those containers to reheat.

Also, i stocked up on measuring cups and spoons at the dollar store so i would NEVER have a reason not to measure.

I use my George Foreman grill constantly to cook lean protein or even throw on peppers & stuff to grill them a bit.
Also, my k cup coffee maker when I stock up on sugar free syrups to flavor my drinks. That way I can have a sweet drink without all the guilt....and to stay away from some desserts.

Food scale, no doubt. It measures perfect portions. No guessing, no eyeballing. Very helpful.

My food scale! I am still amazed at what 4 or 6 ounces actually looks like rather than what I THOUGHT it looked like lol

Yeah, I would say scale and measuring cups....those are the things I use the most....

I have a ninja and that is really good too, for protein shakes and fast chopping of veg for different things....

A simple steamer basket... the metal kind that goes in a pot. I use it every day to steam broccoli, onions, cabbage, spinach etc. Super healthy sides to eat with whatever protein I'm making. I usually eat them with just a little salt and pepper or sometimes a little vinegar... and I can have a lot since they are so healthy... YUM!

I own just about every gadget, processor, chopper, grinder, etc. available, but the only things I use on the regular basis are my oven, my big deep skillet and a good sharp knife.

I have to agree with everyone else who said food scale. It has made all the difference.

Second, measuring spoons. Since I am normally a latte girl, when I was making coffee at home it seems I had been preferring coffee flavored creamer as opposed to creamer flavored coffee. I was shocked to discover I was probably drinking up to 300 calories a day just in Cinnabon creamer. Yikes!

Now I allow myself a maximum 4 tbsp per day. Still 140 calories but I have to have my coffee!

Do I have to pick just one?! lol I couldn't do without my Foreman Grill, measuring cups/spoons, my digital scale, and my blender for making smoothies. If I HAD to pick just one I guess I would say my digital scale. I use it every single day!

I'd have to say my kitchen scale, my measuring spoons and cups, and my set of tiny Fiestaware "fruit" bowls that I use for appropriate sized portioning of snacks, icecream, etc.

If I had to pick just one, it would DEFINITELY be my food scale. I weigh/measure everything. Second to that would be my measuring cups/spoons when the food scale just won't work to measure something. Portion sizes are so important!
