    I would never do it for free.

    I would probably never do it for money no matter how good I looked, but I don't want to say never, because if I was really desperate for money to feed kids or if I couldn't pay back my loans, then maybe. Right now I'm pretty broke but I don't NEED the money, it would just be nice, so I wouldn't do it.

    Actually, I got asked once... I was 27 and 8 months pregnant with my first child. This guy comes up to me randomly one day when I was having lunch outside by myself downtown, and asks if I would like to pose for him because he does bronze sculptures. He had a portfolio with him and everything - I can't be sure, but I think he actually was legit.


    Turned him down, of course - it didn't quite seem safe. But maybe it was - he said that it would be ok if I brought someone with me. I don't know - maybe I turned down the opportunity of a lifetime. Still, I can't imagine why he asked me. Pregnancy *is* beautiful and all, but I was still a 200 lb. short chick! LOL we'll never know...

    In the right circumstances, yes. I had a friend who was a photography major in college who did a nude series. I wasn't comfortable with my body then, so I never volunteered to pose for her, but if she asked me today, I probably would.

    I also had a friend who posed nude for a college level figure drawing class, and she said it was one of the most empowering things she's ever done.

    If I for some reason got into models as well, then sure. Comes with the territory. I would just want it to be tasteful, nothing pornographic.

    I've posed nude on a fetish social site and on my own website, even at my highest weight. Beauty can be found in all shapes and sizes, and although I know I need to lose more weight to be healthier and look better, I enjoy seeing myself as-is. I have milky white skin, lots of tattoos, long black hair....it's fun and makes me feel pretty. Getting paid is a plus, but not a requirement. More women should see beauty in their bodies, whether their current figure is the "final product" or not. Confidence is the sexiest thing of all.

    Regardless of size, it isn't my style. My body is private, not an object to be valued, critiqued and leered at.

    i'd love to feel strong enough to have my body be 'valued and leered at!' and i think the harshest critiques would come from either me or other women.
    yes, i'd pose. i'd pose now, i'd pose when i was smaller and i would have posed when i was bigger. but only if there are no bits exposed because i just don't think that's attractive. and i was comfortable with the photographer. and it was dark!
