I've always drank and preferred skim- but I recently switched to 2% since we're going to switch to whole raw milk. I didn't want a huge shock, so I'm easing into thicker, creamier milks before I drink the holy grail of thick and creamy.
I like coconut milk and cream too, but as a food additive, not as a beverage.0 -
Lately I've been loving almond milk! I also switched from 1% to fat free because I've been getting plenty of fat in my diet other than milk (though the fats in milk are healthy)0

I drink Silk Pure Almond0

skim, all the way.0

hood calorie countdown 2% milk0

Any organic 2%. I don't usually just drink milk though, unless it's 2% cocolate Nesquick. Plain milk is for cereal!0

For me it aries with what I'm having it with.I'm not lactose intolerant but I actuall prefer the taste of almond and soy milk better! Soy can apparently have negative affects ifyou have too much so I try to stay away. When I'm having a glass of milk, I have original almond milk or skim milk.
I have unsweetend almond milk when putting it with something else, ie cereal, breakfast shakes, etc
I also hate drinking my calories so 35 cals for a cup sounds good to me!0 -
I personally prefer coconut milk.... or homemade sesame, almond, nut milks...
but if you are only talking about dairy ... whole milk is definitely better.... all the nutritional value is taken out of reduced fat milks... the vitamins in those can't even be absorbed by your body.
Just one source.... but there should be others to support this.

i've been on a Silk unsweetened almond milk kick. i use it to thicken up my protein shakes, in my steel cut oats, or with Truvia. Its thicker than skim and only has 35 cals, 1 carb, and zero sugar for 8 oz serving.0

as long as it doesnt push your calories over. I used to drink skim and love it(still do) but dont drink milk anymore because there are other places i would rather spend 200 calories haha0
-
2% for me. That's what I grew up drinking. At one point in college I drank 1% but switched back after I had kids. They don't like 1% or skim and it is a pain having to buy more than one kind.0
