I'm all for plastic surgery. If you want to change something to make you more confident and happy, why not? Just make sure your getting them for the right reasons.0

Ok I posted earlier, and I need to add something, I am a NATURAL 32GG and that is after I lost weight, but it is a massive pain buying clothes, I almost always show a lot of cleavage even if I don't intend to, its a nightmare to buy bra's and they are expensive and If I tell you my Husband LAUGHED when he saw my Wedding underwear because of how ridiculously massive the cups on the basque where, he put them on his head, I was upset as that was my Wedding underwear and my Husband was NOT supposed to think it was funny...
I love my boobs, they are awesome, they are a great shape and they are pretty pert to, not bad for a lady about to be a Grandma, I don't get the back pain people talk about, and they are not uncomfortable, but I think that is because I wear good proper fitted bra's.
Do what you want to do, what you feel is right for you, what makes you happy and don't try and please other people, or worry about what other people think.0 -
ok, as a guy, I am repulsed at women that get implants. I think it makes women look cheap and vain. Leave the implants where they belong, strippers and pro wrestlers.
This is uncalled for. I'm neither a stripper or a wrestler and I have implants. You would never even know if you passed me on the street. Please don't make such generalized remarks.
I have never regretted mine, not for a minute. I have also never received a single complaint about them.
Make sure to do your homework and fix your self-esteem first, then get implants if you still want them. Good luck to you

just remember- when you are 80, and old and saggy everywhere else- those puppies will still be tight and firm in the middle of things for all to see- it can be really scary looking! Google "old ladies with fake boobs"...
As someone who has been a DD since high school, I say they are way more trouble than they are worth- clothes shopping is a pain, bra shopping is a nightmare, and bathing suit shopping is impossible. You'll have to start buying the separates, and they start at $70 or so per peice...... if you are a stomach sleeper, those days are over! Welcome to a world where the majority of men can't tell if you have a horn sticking out of your forehead becasue all they see are boobs. I personally can't wait to get a reduction!

Implants will sag just like real boobs.
Clothes shopping in an A cup is a nightmare. Since BUYING my DD's I LOVE clothes shopping. I LOVE bra shopping. I LOVE bathing suit shopping. I don't spend $70 a piece for my separates. I sleep on my stomach every night. I like that my hubby talks to my boobs but he would still notice if I had a horn sticking out of my head...eventually :-).0 -
<---After breastfeeding and becoming a serious runner, I lost my natural DD breasts. I had a lollipop lift and small implants to bring them back. No one even knows I've had them done because they look exactly the same as they did before. I had complications due to my thin skin and I still do not regret it for a second. I feel beautiful again.
A 38C is a good amount of volume, but if it is spread out across a wide chest, you will not have projection and look small chested. it is pretty apparent that most of the women in this thread do not understand this. Ladies, saying a 38C is big is like saying a 40B is big, or a 42A. Same amount of breast volume, spread out across larger chests.0 -
I don't know the percentage of people effected by implant leakage and capsular contractures, but I know it happens. I have felt these--the breast tissue feels like a lump of concrete with weird ripples in the skin.
I personally would go with a mammopexy (breast lift), under your circumstances.
My mom is on her third set because of this. and the place where you can see the bag ripples on the side would be something I would have a hard time with.
Not all implants cause ripples or are visible. There are many factors that can contribute to this and many steps that can be taken to avoid this. The OP stated that she is a natural 38C. With that much natural tissue she runs little to no risk of having ripples or being able to feel or see the implant bag.
I really wish people would get educated about implants before giving people advice about them.
I've seen it stated on this thread repeatedly..."you have to have them changed every 10 years...". FALSE. You may need them changed in less than a year, 5 years, 10 years or have the same implants 30 years without a single issue. It's individual. There is no set amount of time for how long implants last.
To the OP: Just do your homework :-). Learn the facts and avoid opinion based statements. The number one factor in determining how your breasts will look after implants is how your breasts looked BEFORE implants.0 -

go for it hun, you won't look back! one of the best things i ever did and wow, to finally feel like a woman is a brilliant feeling. Don't do it to "make yourself feel better" or to make up for any other areas ofinsecurity though, do it as a reward for losing weight/ reaching goal, that's the best incentive
Wait until you have reached goal weight though, because weight loss can affect the size and shape of the implants.
I'm 11 months post op after my BA in may last year, went from a b to an ff cup, so if you want to know anything just ask away xxxI'm 5 foot 4 and wear a 38C bra. Currently I'm about 155 and plan on losing more weight as well. I am debating if I should get implants to make me feel better about myself. I have been exercising, eating right, and making lots of positive life changes in the last 2 years. I was just wondering how others felt about implants. Ladies and gentlemen, please share your thoughts with me. What do you think about real boobs vs. implants?
I don't want giant kick balls either...lol...I just have always wanted larger boobs and I thought this might be a good time to get them. It might also make me relax about my stomach and not have such a complex about it. I'm not trying to e a porn star or anything like that, I just think it would enhance my shape some.
I have a plastic surgeon that I have used before and am totally confident in his work. He knows what I am interested in and suggested a breast lift as well. He was totally and brutally honest with me, and I needed to hear that.0 -
My BF just got implants a few months ago.
For her, she litterally had soupy A-cup boobs. She did a large C, and likes them. She complained about the pain for a month though. Things she said she didn't like, was the attention she got having them. People did treat her differently, even strangers.
I seen them without clothes, there is no fold underneath. Even after several months, still no fold. So there is a slight, not natural look to it. They also are rock hard, and attached underneath the muscle. Pushups are not an option for her anymore as a result. It tugs she says.
It helped her confidence, but she already was ostracized in her eyes. Given your size, I don't know that your going to benefit from the cost and life commitment you'll have. If you want to have them lifted, that's up to you. But I don't feel size is going to replace your confidence. In fact, I've never heard someone say they were more confident with tits, unless they had ZERO to start from.

If you are already a C I don't see why you need implants personally.... I have them, but only so I could get to a C! I couldn't even fill an A before, even after a child

your friend is still early in the recovery process. it takes anywhere from 3 - 12 months for under the muscle implants to look more settled. ALso not everyone experiences pain, i had none. And even with unders you will be able to do the exercise you did before so long as you give your body sufficient time to heal and ease back into it slowly xMy BF just got implants a few months ago.

I like my smallish boobees, so I wouldn't ever have implants. I have nothing against someone who wants to make a change. Please, please, don't make yourself into a freak. Get something that matches your body. :glasses:0

Honestly, I think you should go for it! If you are not comfortable with them now and want to change them, then go for it! Get all of the information and do LOTS of research before! I don't have implants but I am waiting until after I am done having children and my weight loss journey before getting them, or at least getting a boob lift. I am not comfortable with my boobs the way they are now and they are the same size as yours. It's funny when people say "just get confidence!"....why are we all here? To build confidence by changing what we don't like, and if that means going "fake" then by all means, go fake! You've got support here!! 0

U may or may not have been referring to my portion of the post you quoted here...no misconceptions here about plastic surgery. If u read my entire post ...I have had three breast augmentation surgeries ...I also stated that I cannot imagine being without my breast implants. My belt <<<<<~~~~~~ profile pic says I heart boobies. I am just simply saying that IMO feeling better about your self comes from within not bags filled with saline or silicone! To me that's all they are...I have never felt any better or worse with or without them. But I have had them 1/3 of my life and most of my adult life. Possibly I take them for granted!?!

i would only do it if i had to, to appear "normal" (one way bigger than the other, cancer, etc) but i know the hubs prefers them real 0
