    Jacksonville here- been here since the day I was born :) Definitely too hot for my taste, but pretty much ALL my family is here so we aren't going anywhere...

    Born and raised and hating every minute of it. I hate the heat, I hate the humidity, I hate the beach. I want seasons. I want the mountains and fresh air. No offense to everyone who likes it here. It's just not for me. :frown:

    I am in Destin, FL :) Moved from Ontario, Canada so a change of climate for sure! But so far I am loving it.

    Born in Louisiana but raised in Florida. Lived there most of my life. Grew up mostly on Anna Maria Island. Sold my house in Plant City a couple of years ago. Live on the road now but maintain a FL address for my license.

    I was born and raised in Florida. Brevard County (Kennedy Space Center/Cocoa Beach/Port Canaveral) area. 2 years ago we moved away to Utah because my boyfriend transferred with his job.

    I have always liked cooler weather more then the hot drippy weather. The one thing I DO NOT miss about FL is the humidity. Even having lived there for 27 years I go back and I can barely breathe. I'm sure if he got the chance to transfer back though I would acclimate quickly. All of our family lives back there.

    I lived in Orlando for a few years. Drivers are notoriously horrible over there.
    I'm from Brevard too! I don't live there now but my parents still do!

    living in Bradenton, Fl. originally born and raised in Stralsund Germany then moved to Everett Ma. then to Chelmsford Ma. then to Tyngsboro Ma. then to New Ipswich N.H. then to Bradenton Florida, home sweet home now and I am loving it. Wished I had done the move 10 years earlier. Very happy here living on the gulf coast.

    Hey, born and raised in south Florida, bought property in North Carolina mountains, now stuck with a house we can't sell so will have to make the best of it. I am pushing the upwards end of 40's and the humidity sucks! Would love to see it snow sometime as well.

    I moved from NY to Florida and honestly, I hated it at first, a year later I loved it. Due to some circumstances, had to move back to NY and man do I miss Florida!!! I try to go at least 3-4x a year to visit my friends and hope to some day move back.

    I'm just north of Tampa. Originally went PA to Miami, but relocated here a few years ago. My second job has me traipsing all over FL between Jacksonville and Miami so I play tourist in this state quite frequently and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. (Well, actually I thought about Arizona for a while, but no ocean is a deal breaker for me).

    Moved to central florida 2004. Still miss my family, but try to keep busy. The summers are tough.

    born in NJ but moved to Florida when I was really young..I live in Palm Coast . NOT looking forward to this tropical storm..only bad part of living in Florida..oh, AND the hurricanes and heat !

    I was born in Miami, lived in Marietta, GA for 10 years, then Tampa for 2 (which I hated), now I've been in Jupiter, FL since 2004. Jupiter is Paradise!! Love it Love it Love it! There are tons of running groups, biking groups, and whatever else peaks your interest. FL is Awesome in general though :-) If I can drop 5 more pounds, I just MIGHT hit the beach with my head held high.

    Born in NY, but moved to FL when I was 8. Moved back to NY when I was 25...thought I was missing something, then I realized it was my mom and brother!! Moved back to FL and never looked back. Although I love the cold weather---yes, even snow---I am a Florida girl...I love the sunshine too much to leave :) I live in Spring Hill...just north of Tampa (about 45 minutes North)

    I am from Tampa, FL originally, but have moved to a couple different states as an adult, then back to FL, to DeLand, then back to Tampa a year later. I left FL in 2009, though, and moved to Small Town USA in Kentucky, and love it! I don't ever want to go back to the craziness of FL. I would like to go and visit sometime, and maybe take my son to Disney at least once. I haven't had the chance to go back since I moved up here. My parents still live there, and I miss them. I am so glad you like it. There are some VERY beautiful areas, and I hope you get the chance to explore soon!
