... Big boobs aren't usually that appealing after your 20s....

Untrue. There's no age limit on big boobs.

    This is a long thread.

Just wanted to mention sometimes fake boobs aren't because of insecurities or daddy issues. In fact usually, women are getting them for THEM. Not YOU.

I'm at high risk for Breast Cancer and if I develop even the first sign of them I am cutting mine off and getting implants... It doesn't make me any less of a woman and if my husband were to have an issue with fake breasts, he'll get over it real quick.

On MFP, threads about boobs, Vs, married guys trying to bang the women on MFP, and shirtless guys tend to run long. Threads on other things like fitness tend to be very short and not interesting. Unless they are about low carb diets or on how cardio should be banned if you are trying to lose weight and how you should just lift weights. Then its a bro-down.

I might be in the minority but, I think it is important to be concerned about what the other sex is thinking about your appearance. If I didn't care what women thought, I wouldn't even bother shaving or putting on deodorant. In stead, I like to workout, keep thin, and dress sharp and i expect my partner to do the same. Personally, I would love to see more women laughing at guys and telling them they are fat, lazy and slovenly. We really need it. I think women expect too little of us men.

As far as the breast question, I think it is a matter of proportion. My ex-wife was 6' with size D and looked awesome. When she turned vegan, her breasts deflated to size B!! This will sound F--ked up, but I didn't like to even look at them because they looked like fingers hanging off her chest. It wasn't a deal killer and she had a lot of really good qualities, but it did bother me somewhat. Natural large breasts are better for obvious reasons, but implants work fine too. It should be proportional. I have recently seen a couple of older white women (late forties) who were skinny, but had these huge, DD knockers. It looked ridiculous and fake, too! Your breasts shouldn't be twice the size of your rump. If you are thin, I think a size C should suffice. You can always throw in a gel pad in case you want to impress the guys at the bowling alley!!

I am getting tired of heading that it should be "proportional". I am only 5'2" and I have always had large breasts. Curretly I am a DDD. I cannot help that I have a larger bust. I personally wish they were a tad smaller, but thats mainly for clothes reasons. Its harder to find shirts that fit me well because EVERYTHING is tight in the chest. Larger breasts are not all what they are cracked up to be. I have gotten the wrong kind of attention my whole life from guys because of them. It actually makes me feel like a piece of meat.

I also wanted to point out that I totally agree with your first paragraph. Why is so much emphasis put on women to look good and please men? Yet, society says its okay for men to be overweight, or whatever. And, noone EVER talks about a mans private "size". Thats too taboo to talk about I guess. But really, us women have our preferences too below the belt. It really goes both ways. Its fine to have an opinion on what you prefer...we all have our own preferences, but before you start "expecting" women to look a certain way, or put them down for the a larger or smaller breast size, keep in mind you may not be what we prefer either.

I'd agree that there is more emphasis on a woman's looks in general than on a man's, but to say that society is 'ok' with a guy being overweight is pretty naive.

Really? You can honestly say with a straight face you don't think that sort of thing is obsessed over by men? Have you been on the internet before?

I dont think its naive to make a statement like that. Do you ever see controversy about a man being too airbrushed on magazine cover? Or another example, that commercial where Holly Madision walks in and wants a smaller jeans size...no commercials like that with men except for infomercials, so I would definitley say there is way more emphasis on women being thin than men!

my point is that is it NEVER discussed, I have seen several of this exact same topic on here about this and never about that. So, no, I disagree that there is way more focus on the females assetts that mens

Fake boobs are no different than fake nails, fake hair color or make up. Women do these things to make themselves feel better. If you are with a guy who is with you because of your *superficial qualities* that "situation" will expire before you know it anyway.

My husband doesn't want me to get breast implants until I "need" them. I say why wait to know your boobs are ugly to get them "fixed"? Get them before so you don't have to see what you don't want to see! I want to get them this winter but we will see. (I breastfeed and will be done in the summer, I just have to wait until my milk dries up) He is against it because I don't "need" them yet, but you can't really complain that your wife is getting bigger breasts. Hahaha He wants me to wait until i'm 35. :O Im 34C and want to go to 34D, so not that much bigger. I have a slightly larger torso than most girls my size, so it should look great and not too big! Im excited.

Mine are fake but are under the muscle and look and feel real except for being symmetrical (which most real boobs arent). i went from a 32B to a 32DD and i love them. i think the only times fake boobs look bad is if its over the muscle, or if there is a big gap in between them.

Did you get silicone or saline?

saline. my doctor said they would be best for my age and body type..whatever that meant? he said he doesnt like to do silicone because its harder to tell if you have a leak in your breast.

Over the muscle can get a bad rap of looking overly fake. Mine are over the muscle. My PS said that would be best for my body. I love the results. I have seen Under the muscle implants that look bad too.

I think a lot depends on the surgeon. If you have a good surgeon, he/she will give you good results whether they are silicone/saline, over muscle/under muscle. You really need to do a lot of research and a lot of research on your plastic surgeon.

Before kids, I could have rocked this dress with my cute tiny boobs!!! But, after nursing 6 kids, I look a lot better in this dress now with implants!!

If I wanted to play with plastic I'd buy a Barbie doll.

Total BS. I have implants and they feel VERY natural.

    1. having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information; credulous:

I already said that it's worse for women, but that doesn't mean that men don't face some of those problems as well. You initially said it was 'ok' for a guy to be overweight, and that's simply not true. I'm coming down from a weight of 315, and I had a lot of issues at that weight. The fact is that there is a push for guys to rock a six pack and look like someone from the 300 (and they most CERTAINLY didn't use any kind of touch up work on the guys in that movie. Nope, those six packs were definitely not sprayed on and enhanced). I challenge you to find one men's "health" or "fitness" magazine in the past 20 years that doesn't have something about getting a six pack or building massive biceps somewhere on the cover. It's fine to talk about the negative pressures on women, and the issues that said forces can cause on body image and self esteem, but to completely dismiss those factors on others because you think you have it rough is naive.

I cleared my spam folder at about 915AM this morning. It's 130PM right now, and I have 68 spam messages. Eyeballing it, about half are some variation of GgGgggrRRrOooOOWWww_YyyYYyooOOooUUuURrRrRrrr_PPpPPppppEeeEennNNnnIiiiIISssSSs. Think of how much money is spent per year on male enhancement. I would certainly agree that speaking openly of male genetalia is a more taboo subject than breasts, just like talking about female genitalia is a more taboo subject than breasts. That doesn't mean there isn't a focus on male size. People make TONS of money off male insecurity about their size, it is definitely something that's obsessed over. If you don't believe me, browse some porn sites and count how many ads there are advertising male enhancement.

I always think of a story my wife, who is an RN, told me. She worked in an ER and they had an 85 year old petit little granny come in in full cardiac arrest. They stripped her shirt off and tried to save her but couldn't. After they were done there was this wrinkled old lady on the table with rock hard boobs standing straight up while everything else on her was wrinkled and saggy. The point to all this is.................I hope to God I get to play with some rock hard boobs when I am 85.

I also thought Over the muscles would look like hard rocks stuck on the chest or balls in a sock. But, I did a lot of research about Over the muscle placement (trust me, hard to find) and looked a photos of Overs and it helped a lot. It really does depend on the surgeon. A good surgeon will give you good results. And a good surgeon will do what is best for your body.
