How many GOOD friends do you have?
Replies

One. And I would do the same for her.
And then there's my mom, she's the other person I can depend on in any situation and who will always tell me the truth, even when it's hard to hear.
I have a number of people I'm friendly with, a few I'd hang out with for any amount of time, but just the above two that I can go to with anything and everything.0 -
Locally - 0
I have 5 very good, best, awesome friends back home though.

Locally, not including my hubs, I would say there are 4 I could call without hesitation that would bail me out of jail, help me change a tire, or fight zombies in the middle of the night. 2 more that aren't local, but would hop in a car or plane if I called and said, I realllly need you.
And I would do the same for any of them.
weird. i have exactly the same situation. one guy and one girl friend who are local and then one guy and my bestie who are each over a thousand miles away. if any of us picked up the phone for the others, we would drop EVERYTHING and go. thankfully, this has only been tested once. that's when i made it to NYC in two hours.0 -
I would say 4. My two brothers are more like best friends. Something goes wrong, our fault or not. We are all there for each other. Besides them, I have two life long girlfriends that even tho we live states away from each other. When we do get together, its like we have never parted ways. I love friends like that.0
-
I would say 3 with 2 more people close behind.
My husband
My Bestfriend from right after college
A friend I met a work a few years ago.
The close behind people live further away and are harder to get in touch with but If somthing serious happened they would be on a plane in no time.0 -
Mark is my oldest friend ( he is gay so my boyfriend is cool with it) Then Shellie, Kat and my sisters Crystal and Leah and even though my boyfriend hates it a couple of my exes are true friends and I rarely ever see an ex in person.
But really I spend very little face to face time with any of them, I am OK with it too, I work so much I don't have a lot of extra time to play with. When we do get together it's like no time has passed.
My boyfriend and I hang out the most and even tho he wants me to tell him everything I can't tell him everything. It's tough but that's the way it is.0 -
Not counting family, two.0
-
about 12, most; of them go back to my high school and college years. We are all very close.0
-
I dont even have family that will count........ FML.
can't count my bf, cant count family, no real friends........all my friends live in distant parts of the country/world, so even though I can call and talk to a handful of people, I cant *TRULY* count on them for things like bail, car problems, spider killing......0 -
I don't think I could count them, honestly. I have never been very good at choosing boyfriends, but I have a knack for choosing very wonderful friends and have been sort of "collecting" them literally since preschool.
I've known my best friend since she was 3 months and I was about 2 and out families are close, so she's more like a sister than a friend. I'd turn to her before anyone, but I have about 100 backups, at least!
Just in the city where I've lived the last five years, I can think of six offhand and a couple who just recently moved away.0 -
Does my dog count???
No seriously.. I have like three **tops and we never really see each other too much.
I'm not a big people person.0 -
I have one, my husband. He's the only one I can truly rely on.0
-
I actually have few...
Number one, my husband.
My ex brother in law
My step son
3 local girlfriends / 1 in WI0 -
I would say that I have more GOOD friends here than in real life. There are a few really close ones that live close.0
-
I don't have any in real life.
I was married to my best friend and, although I still admire him as a person a lot, divorcing him (naturally) caused that to change.
I am very fortunate to have a great support system on here (one or two who are especially awesome), which helps, and I am going to try to BE a better friend in real life going forward so that I can HAVE better friends.0 -
I would say three: I go to school with two of them and the third I met in middle school and even though he lives in another state, we still talk a lot0
-
1. My husband, of course. He is an amazing man that I can confide in.
2. My best friend of 9 years, Britni. We met in undergrad, and she's awesome. She knows way too much about me, but unfortunately, she lives in Chicago, while I am in Miami
3. My (local) best friend Holly, who is so awesome words cannot describe it.
4. My contractor and very good friend Robert who always answers when I call about stupid house projects I do not know how to do. He's always honest with me about that stuff. His wife and daughter are really great people too.0 -
I only have one really, really good friend. I have others that I'm close to or hang out with occasionally, but I only have one best friend who I tell things to that I've never even told my own parents. She's like a sister to me and she is moving to San Diego for college in a few months.0
-
Just one...My husband.0
-
5 (including my sister). I'm blessed to say that I am 25 and have had the same friends since I was in elementary school.0
-
Three. My dad, my boyfriend, and my best friend of about 12 years.0
-
I only have person that I can count on right now (aside from my parents) and that is my husband. I used to have a really good friend who I didn't need to talk to everyday and we just got along, she was literally my other half. But I moved away after I got married and while we still talk there is just no way I can depend on her cause of the distance.0
-
5 max0
-
2 really good ones that I could count on for anything, one pretty good one that would do most anything, and my boyfriend who I think would still help even if we weren't dating, but it's hard to say ;-p0
-
Hmm Definitely my husband...no matter how bad I eff up, he always is kind.
My friend Heather, for sure. Jess, absolutely. Those two I know would drop everything if I truly needed them.
I have a few other close friends but their lives are a bit dramatic and hectic.0 -
2. One I have known for over 15 years and another for about 4. I moved out of state so I don't get to talk to them as much as I used to but I know I can count on them whenever I need anything or just need to talk.0
-
5... if you count my sister.0
-
I have one. He's been my best friend for 15+ years now. We talk about everything. We just have this connection, I can be thinking about him and he'll call or vice versa. I do have other friends, but no one a close as him.0
-
Let's see. Wife and daughters make 4. Among the dozens of people I ride with, work with play soccer with there are probably half a dozen more that I would trust with my Daughters and my Wife and my money or my life.0
-
Hmm.. ya know what? I don't think I even have any. Not IRL ones anyway. The rest are too far away0
