We (my husband and I) have 6 very close friends - we're all couples. Apparently we're quite formidable when we're together

I would say around 10 close friends that I have had from 6 years to 34 years. I'm very lucky to have such a great group of people that surround me. I have the best family in the world with awesome friends to boot. I'm never ever alone in a time of need.

2 right now. My partner and my sister, who unfortunately lives 10 hours away.

I'm used to taking care of myself though, so I don't really feel the loss.

Bi peds - 1 my wife. Others that I can confide in and they tell no one. 2 Charlie my dog, great respect both ways there and Mr Seeka my horse. He does not go into paddock gossip and has seen me through some real bad and dark times.

4 really good female friends, and my husband.

though i could probably include a few of my parents' good friends, they've sort of adopted me as an honorary niece. :)

My black lab, we've been through some good and bad times together...
  • I would say I have 2. besides my boyfriend and my sister, hahaha. But one of them lives very far away and I have never met her in real life. But I feel super close to her and we both consider ourselves best friends, XD

I have 2. One that I can go out with and enjoy a nice dinner and if I dont see her for a few months then thats ok.....no pressure. The other is very spiritual and we have that in common. She gets me...and she totally does not judge me when I make mistakes....she just listens and supports and I do the same for her.

If GOOD means those you share your problems with + long deep conversations + spend the best time with: I say two friends.

If GOOD means those you ask advice in the middle of the night about everything (from painful moments, feeling screwed up, socks color, stinking feet, cookies preservatives <--- truth): just ONE.

I am the kind of person that thinks that friendship is nothing out from what I wrote above... I can say I HAVE 2 friends, no need to add how good :) And I am endlessly lucky for them!

1 really good number one soulmate that I can talk about anything with. Married to her.
Maybe 3 others I could call at 3am if in a jam.
Probably a dozen that I could get to stop by on Saturday and help move a couch.

Not bad really. 5 years ago it would'a been just the one soulmate.

Anywhere from 1 to 5 depending on how you count them.

    1. Cloest friend from home, been friends since I was 8, grew up about 5 houses away. Can easily communicate without talking at this point which really messes with the rest of our friends.
    2. A cousin of mine that's about 3 years older and lives an hour away. Don't think he's ever said no to helping anyone.
3+4: Two college friends, one male, one female, both were in my major and part of the smaller study group that naturally formed that varied between 4-6 of us. But one lives 4 hours away, and the other about 4500 miles (per google maps) away.
    5: My sister

Oh and since someone else mentioned it as well, my dog is by far the most reliable friend I have. Though all 5 above are reliable too.
