Another vote for Old Navy jeans.. the starting price isn't too bad but I often find them on clearance as well, and buy them for around $10.
YES! Love the Old Navy bootcut jeans. Although this could be because this is the only place that I can find a long that is actually affordable.0 -
My favorite is the Levi's 515 Midrise Bootcut
These are my favorite too!0 -

My favs are Silver's; hands down! I like Miss Me's too! That goes for Capris too.0 -
CK Bootcut are my favorite right now, comfy waistline, just enough stretch, no flare..
This! I get mine at Costco for like 25 bucks. Being short has serious disadvantages when it comes to clothes shopping, but their jeans are almost the right length.0 -
I'm not a brand snob...as long as they feel good and look good, I'll buy em...so far the ones that I REALLLY LOVE are by Calvin Klein and I found em at Costco for like 30-40 bucks so I stocked up!!! They run like 80 bucks at Macys!!!0

One style from Express I think would work for you - it's the Stella bootcut

I have a pair and they're pretty nice... it says they're low rise but they're actually a little higher rise than their other jeans.0 -
Bump....I haven't bought jeans in years b/c I am only 5'2" & being overweight I can't wear petite sizes (for shorties) but size 14 or so are way too long & I can't afford a taylor to fix them....So I really need help ....Thanks everyone for sharing.... & I just tried this site that someone shared...Thank you for that as well!

My favorite jeans are old navy!!! I usually the the sweetheart and short... that way i don't have to hem them since I'm short (5'3)! Their price is really reasonable compared to other places and brands!0

I like Abercrombie jeans, I have 5 pairs. Before them my favs were D&G0
-
I'm cheap with jeans... I never pay more than 50 bucks... I got a pair from Torrid that I love...also from Winners (in Canada) I guess it would be some place like Marshall's in the states... I get Angel Jeans....
Next time I go south I'm going to try on some VS NYDJ's for sure!!0 -
My absolute favorite pair of jeans are my Miss Me jeans. They were my 100 pound reward to myself! My other favorites (more affordable) are Old Navy jeans, the Sweetheart Collection in any cut! They just fit so well!0
-
I vote for NYDJ (Not your Daughter's Jeans). They are not grandma jeans.0

J.Jill or Ana jeans0

Thanks everyone! I am definitely going shopping soon.0

I love Buckle BKE jeans, they are super comfortable...very important after having had 4 kids0

I have a hard time finding the right fit of jeans also, My legs are long and thats my first hurdle, and I hate the low rise because of my belly also...They closed the Old Navy store here where I live, it seems there are alot of good comments on them, maybe I will look them up on line, only I am not sure what size I am now, since all jeans are cut differently...I have bought a cpl prs of LEI jeans at Walmart, they are mid rise and not too bad of a "muffin top" and they came in long enough lengths, they go for about $20.00, and they have different washes from dark to light colored...0

I like NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans). They are very comfortable and slimming. They don't look like "mom jeans" either. They can be pricey, but check eBay. I have been able to find them at reasonable prices there.0

I high end jeans.
Faves are:
True Religion
Rock & Republic
Seven for all Mankind
Citizens of Humanity
I carry most of my weight in the belly too.0 -
I look best in boot-cut jeans with a mid-rise. I have to get mine either in "tall" (Lane Bryant is a good one for that) or I buy men's pants in general, because I have long legs.0
-
My favourite jeans are those that fit properly! theres nothing worse than seeing someone squeezed into and/or over-flowing from a pair that is too small just because they are too stubborn to buy the next size up! well fitting jeans that flatter the figure are much better than pretending to be a size smaller because it looks awful!0
-
try mid rise that have stretch... its gread cuz you can pull them ober your stomach!0

bump0

My jeans always end up waaay too baggy in the rear since I don't have much "junk in my trunk". I have some lucky jeans I just bought, but those are getting the same way. Any ideas?0
-
I like high end Jeans. I buy them consignment and that cuts the cost in half.
I have a good store right by my house so it makes it simple.
Seven for all Mankind
Citizens of Humanity
Rich and Skinny

American eagle all the way.0

I agree with the "not your daughters jeans". I have 2 pair and I love them. Little pricy.. about 100-120 but they are worth it! I'm kinda sad now that I'm losing weight and the dont fit so well anymore, lol.0

American Eagle Skinny Jeans
They are truly the only jeans I have ever found that fit .. and they are so soft ... I am never wearing anything else and I don't care how much tax I have to pay to get them posted to the UK !!!0 -
Update: So after some online browsing i found that all the fancy schmancy True religions/citizens of humanity/rock&republic jeans are targeted to be sold to tall thin model like people. Nice jeans, pricey, and not for me. I went to NYDJ and THEY are what I am looking for! Thank you for those of you who suggested them!! I can't wait to get me some!0

Jessica Simpson's line, Pac Sun's line including Foxy and Volcom. Those are the only one's that fit my shape properly that I have found. Volcom was so much fun ... my girls were "Mom *gasp* are those volcom?", me: "why yes, yes they are", their friends "your Mom rocks" haha Living on the beach for so long (til now) the surf/skate jean and bikini lines are my only exception to not wearing "grown up" clothing.0

What are your favorite type of jeans? I am mainly looking for answers from females. I have a belly. Its not flat by any means but with the right outfit, I can feign a flat belly. With that being said, I have trouble finding a sexy pair of jeans. I hate the low rise jeans because they only accentuate my big belly. I have issues with the "mom jeans" because they give me a muffin top. If i get a pair of jeans that DOESN'T give me a muffin top, then its too lose in the legs/buttocks area. So far the Kohls brand SO jeans are the best fit but they don't have very much of a selection in colors and styles. Does anyone else have the same problem? How are you overcoming it?
I like Abercrombie&Fitch stretchy skinny jeans. They hug my legs and hips nicely and i can pull them up enough to hide my tummy. Or Delia's Mallory mid-rise jean, or Urban Outfitters has high rise jeans that I love, but I forget what they were called.0
