    *If you get into trouble at school, you'll get it double at home.

    *If a guy in school tries something, kick him where it counts, and my parents would deal with the aftermath.

    *Don't get married until you know how to bake bread.

    *If a baby has been fed, changed, burped, and isn't tired but is still fussy, they're probably too warm. Strip them down to their diaper.
    It really does work every time.

    She also put me in charge of all the laundry quite young, and the kitchen was my room to clean every Saturday morning. She told me it was because no one else did as good a job. I was pretty proud of that.

    Haha! My ex used to say this. He's in sales. This always makes me smile :)
