So the chicken will be fully cooked just going in raw? Just wondering

After 6 - 8 hours on a low heat, ofcourse the chicken will be cooked.

Every slow cooker recipe I see says to first brown any meat, then put it in. I've never heard of putting raw chicken into a slow cooker. Sorry.

I'm gonna try it though. This might be perfect for tonight.

I added it into the database, but you can always tweak it by making it spicier/less spicy depending on which enchilada sauce you use or if you get hot, mild, or regular chiles. It's DEF a family favorite!!

I went to the "database". What is the exact title and do you list the sodium content? Thanks

they already said, it's not in there. It won't be in there. MFP is working on this feature.

Do you think I could do this with already cooked/shredded chicken? I have some frozen and have been looking for a good recipe.

Eh, I kind of understand the question. Even though logic dictates that the chicken would be cooked, we're so conditioned to believe that anything to do with raw chicken is going to kill us all with bacteria that I can see feeling sort of squeamish and unsure about putting raw chicken in to cook slowly. Like I said, I know the logic behind it, but....I might brown the chicken first anyhow. :)
