Ok ladies so this might be funny but i am really curious!! My friend is into country boys and she prefers light men. It's funny though because I'm so opposite! I am into dark men! I can't help that. My perfect man would be tall, dark, have a goatee (yummy!) be a total SWEETHEART and a REAL MAN not a pretty boy who wears skinny jeans like i do. (i know some of you like the pretty boy look though and that's cool! )

Sense of humor.
Honest.
Intelligent.
Supportive of my goals and hobbies, etc.
Thinks beyond the normal parameters.
Affectionate.
Bald (I've always liked bald men.)
Accepting of me however I am at any moment.
Accepting of himself and whatever is happening to him.
Loves animals.

My idea of the perfect man has changed so much as I have grown older. Until I was in my 40's, it had more to do with looks, tall, long hair, rocker type guy, facial hair, common interests. Ok, I still find that attractive, not going to lie. I thought I would one day marry Rex Brown. :blushing:

He has to be healthy, active, funny and into the same music (or just open minded) and is into video games because I am!! That's pretty much it. + If he digs harry potter then it'd be perfect.

I try not to think about this, because no alive, human man would come close. It is hard, though, since you run into the archetypes in movies, books, TV...

I have some hard and fast rules-- must have a job, must be independent, must be funny and responsible. I'd prefer no kids, but if we are going to play the fantasy game, I would say Michael Bluth (Arrested Development) would be a game changer.

My ideal man used to be blonde, green-eyed,wear hi-tops, Levi's and have AT LEAST shoulder length hair. Neither my first hubby of almost 17 yrs was that nor is current hubby ... I always went out with guys who were "my height" - meaning they were 5'5" and skinny (I'm 5'1.5"). First hubby was 6', dark hair, new hubby is 6'1" with gray hair and 6 yrs older than me - both weigh around 220. So much for my "perfect man" - lol. As for personality types, they both are similar. Basic guys, not wild, look mean, narcisstic, like beer, jeans, work boots.... I'm not into muscular men at all (although some are quite lovely to look at). My dream guy was Lee Mazzilli when he played for the NY Mets and now my dream man would be Tony Stewart (was Chad Little when he was still racing). I like "normal" guys - haha - or at least what I consider normal! Oh, and tattoos are fine with me - got one for my 40th bday - but both husbands despise them. Go figure.

My perfect man would enjoy visiting museums, aquariums, zoos, book stores, botanical & Japanese gardens, attending live theater, going camping and enjoy Big Band, Ambient and R&B music and like thunderstorms and the beach.
