Motivation hasn't been very strong since the beginning of the month, too much stuff going on, too much work. But enough excuses.
Back on track after a long weekend.
So a slow 3.86 miles this morning on a very humid and hot morning! My HRM wasn't working this morning :explode: So I :grumble: on the entire run...:noway:

@ everyone --- I am amazed at how many people are close to or at goal with 9 days left in the month! :drinker:
Myself, I'm adding 4 miles to my total from this a.m. My daughter threw me a curve by signing me up for a 5K this Saturday. Now I have to re-think my plan for the rest of the month. :ohwell: Still plan to make goal, but it will have to be with a series of shorter runs instead of the two long runs I had planned.

Couldn't sleep last night so I was up really early this morning and decided to hit the gym early.
6.11 miles on treadmill, elliptical, and cycle.
Hit my goal this morning of 60 miles ... currently .238 miles over my goal. Hard to believe that just two months ago it took me almost 5 minutes to get from the chair to the bathroom in my hospital room after bypass surgery. Still not back to 100% yet and still having to take pain meds occasionally, but the progress in the last month or so has been really motivating for me. I'm not yet able to have my kids spring a 5K on me yet like jonnyb's daughter did , but I'm working on it.
The rest of the month is going to be sauce for the goose.0 -
