Well I did 2 things that fit this.
1. I entered a contest on the post where i have to do 3,000 push-ups and 3,000 sit ups in 30 days or less.
2. I signed up for my first 5K run. this will be the first run i have done since my knee surgery 2+ years ago.

Protein shakes for two meals (breakfast and lunch) for better results! Thursday and Friday of this week, wish me luck.
I wish you luck on the protein shakes. Personally I didn't have any luck. They do help reduce you calorie intake for the day, but they can reduce them too low. If you calorie intake is too low it can cuase your body to go into starvation mode, break down your muscle for calories, and cause you to be tired and drained all day.
So I wish you luck and I would recommend that you still get you daily calorie intake required throughout the day.0 -

Well I went up 1 1/2 lbs. I think it is can be caused by one of 3 things or a combination of.
1) Started swimming laps at lunch
2) Started hitting the weights a little more and cut cardio down to 30 min.
3) Started eating my workout calories back.0 -

Actually that is true. I just found that out this morning. I went ot the wellness center and had my BF% and weight measured.
April 9th
BF - 22.6%
# of fat - 48.2 lbs
# of Muscle - 164.9 lbs
may 15th
BF - 20.6 %
# of fat - 44 lbs
# of muscle - 166 lbs
So I guess I am just bulking up a little. Still need to get down to 196 to get into the military again.0 -
