What are you getting your Mother for Mother's Day?

I want to be different from my brothers, and get my Mom something she actually wants. I'm thinking of getting her a vanity. What are you guys getting your Mom for Mother's Day?

    I have no idea. My mother is forever changing her mind on things she want. I was thinging about a tablet of some sort.

    That's cool, my Mom isn't tech savvy at all. I thought about doing a basket with all the things she loves.

    All expense paid trip to Seattle/Portland (flight, hotels, rental car) for 5 nights. She's always wanted to go there.

    I know I sound evil and my be blasted by the "what? but she gave you life!" people but if I got her something for Mother's Day I'd actually have to see her and talk to her. I'll pass.

    My mother just received a Pandora bracelet for Christmas so I'm going to get her some beads for that and have flowers sent to her work :-)

    I can't believe this has instigated a fight.........what is wrong with us? Sorry that there are a lot of NA's on here. For those of you in the UK, or anywhere else that the date has come and gone, how about be helpful and tell us what you already gave your mother's for mothers day and how much she enjoyed the gift/thought??

    I'm very sorry to hear. Every year the Saturday before we put flowers on my Grandmother's grave...I like to think that they make her smile and she does get them.

    i agree with this on my own mom, but for my mother-in-LAW, I'm doing a scrapbook page frame. It will have idividual cut-out pics of her, my dad in law, two sis in laws, myself, hubby, surrounding a group pic of us. :)

    This won't help at all, haha but I quit my job so I can't spend much anyway, so I'm getting her flowers and making her a chocolate chip cookie cake. (her favorite.)
