    Didn't see this thread last week. Great idea! I need to keep in check so I don't give up. Struggling with Shin Splints but if I rest I'll end up getting stupidly lazy...

    I started this last week but quickly realized how many calories 3500 truly is, it's the equivalent of me running about 30 miles in a week. I'm going to lower it to 3000 this week but I still don't know if I'll make it. The training plan I'm following which requires 4 days of cardio and 3 of lifting will just not burn this many and I don't count things like cleaning as exercise. I try to make it a point to not overestimate.
