After a thread yesterday about how yummy Nutella is, I know my kids like it so I bought a jar to try it.

All I can say is it's one of the grossest things I have ever tasted. You have to be kidding me with that stuff.

I couldn't get that nasty taste out of my mouth. Yuk!

Crazy people. Phhhhfffttt!

    Thats what I thought at first. Then 6 months later I had it again, and couldn't stop eating it for a week. I dont allow it in my dorm anymore so I'll stop eating it.

    Its so addicting!

    I haven't had Nutella in forever, but I do love it. Since it's a chocolate/hazelnut combo (with an extra dose of sweetness), I can see it not being everyone's favorite. At least your kids love it, so the jar won't go to waste. :happy:

    My picky 5 year old who eats nothing loves Nutella. I can't put it down. Awesome on any sort of carb product...especially waffles and pancakes!!

    Nutella really just a liquid candy bar. It's really tasty, though I haven't had any in years.

    NeverStray- I'm not a fan either but my ex-husband and my 2 year old LOVE it! So I keep it in the house for my son
    and know that that is one sweet thing that I can safely say that I won't be consuming. LOL

    The after taste is disgusting. Maybe that's why you all think it's addicting, you have to keep eating more to avoid the after taste. Lol.

    It tastes like aspertame. I hate anything made with that stuff.

    Yeah, I have never been a fan of it myself... even when I was a kid (we lived in Europe so we ate it before it came here)... I personally am a bigger fan of the dark (or milk.. but that's not available anywhere around here) chocolate spread... make a sandwich with it and peanut butter and you have a reese's sandwich....

    Nope, not for me.

    Now, I love chocolate and nuts - choc covered brazils, say, or hazelnuts in a bar of preferably dark chocolate.

    But I find nutella sickeningly sweet, too sticky a texture, and no real flavour of either chocolate or nuts!

    I LOVE Nutella. I eat it everyday. Peanut Butter & Nutella on wheat toast! YUMMY!!!!
