    I don't really think flirting = cheating, though it can be a very fine line. But there's only one thing that really "leads to cheating", and they're called choices. :wink:

    not really. its nice to hear and see others who complement you so much that they start flirting.....i like to flirt as well, but some pple have different boundaries too. Everyone is different

    Would you do it if your spouse was looking over your shoulder? That is the question. That line is a little different for everyone, but if the answer is "NO" I wouldn't do it if my spouse was looking, then what you are doing is cheating.

    I seem to be feeding the troll here, but what the hell. Here's where my personal boundaries are:

    Basically, I think of it like this: personal interaction + sexual content = cheating. One or the other on their own are almost certainly okay. Examples:

    Strip club is fine. Lots of naked, but it's basically live porn. I wouldn't be talking to the girls outside of that environment (no personal interaction).

    Staring at the half-naked hottie walking down the street in the summer (and trying not to drool too much :laugh: ), same thing. 3D porn.

    Flirting is fine, so long as it doesn't get too explicitly sexual, but no unusual physical contact. I draw the line a lot sooner here when I'm actually interacting with someone versus just admiring the view from far away.

    Online, it's all the same ideas. Porn is fine, exchanging pictures with someone else via IM / email / whatever is not. When it comes to online flirting, I tend to think that it's fine in a public space like the forum or a news feed, and not so much in private messages. If I would feel like I had to hide it, then I shouldn't do it in the first place.
