    He won't eat underwear, but he'll lick them for hours if we leave them on the floor.

    He does like to eat dirty diapers though.

    Yes I had one dog that did this constantly, underwear, socks, even ate a underwire bra, ... the after effect issues are not fun to deal with... same dog would also eat dirt.

    I work for an emergency vet and underwear is one of the most common reasons we have to take a dog to surgery. I think socks are just slightly more popular.

    One of my cats steals my socks and carries them around the house. The same cat also stole a (clean!) menstrual cup and actually growled when we tried to get it away from her (Cup has not been used since)! This is a timid little kitten who is scared when we carry even tiny bags around the house as well!

    My girl will lick, but not eat. She doesn't do it too often anymore. Sometimes, she will just lay on them. She will also randomly take one of my shoes into the other room. She does like to eat flip flops. She always chews the toe part that goes into the foam. Those are the only shoes she will destroy. She's a weirdo!
