I feel like i look the same, the dress was bought at a size 24 cuz it was the only one above a size 12 so I had my swim coach tailor it for me, so i think it may be a size 16 or 18, i have it upstairs, maybe i should try it on...

So I didn't go to high school prom but every year my friends hold a punk rock prom and this is what my friend and I wore. Very fun night. Bought that dress from goodwill for only 6 bucks! (I'm the one in red)0 -
Where I would like to get back down to...
I have this EXACT dress. It was for my Grade 8 graduation.
Haha that's funny...but it sort of makes me feel old too :P0 -

My hubby and I senior year 2003, he was 18 and I was 17. I know the dress is a size 12 (still in my closet) but no clue what weight. I never stepped on a scale at that point in my life unless it was at the docs which I never went to, lol

Wow, I haven't looked back at these in a long time. Here is me with one of my best friends who I also haven't seen in a very long time! And an ex-boyfriend whom I do not miss AT ALL! Eww, to guys who give us a bad self esteem. Oh yes, and he broke up with me this very night! (no, not bitter at all)
**EDITED PICTURE, and weight was 135lbs****0 -
Since my high school didn't host proms, but here's my high school grad photo (without my date)
I'm at least 220 pounds, size 20+? I'm smaller now, but I thought I'd post along with everybody else0 -
this was my junior prom 07'. bad thing is i thought i was a fat cow in that dress. now looking back i realize how big of a moron i was.lol
I thought the same about myself.. I'd go back in time and give myself a good slap if I could! lol0 -
Never got to go to prom. I always wanted to wear a pretty dress.0

There's still time for that! =0)0 -
Oooh, 2008!
I'm not sure how much I weighed when this was taken! I didn't really care about my weight in high school because I was always pretty thin. I was probably around 135 or 140 or something!
Hehe, you look so cute :happy:0 -
haha! Love all these. I thought I was so fat in high school. Someone should have slapped me. This is me at my senior prom in 1998. That is my husband in the pic. We got married the month after I graduated. We will be married 14 years in July.
I was 134lbs & between 5'5 & 5'6, size 10.

Such a cute thread! I wish I had my prom pictures!0

I would like all the tall girls to notice my stance in both photos. It was the "drop your hip, put one foot way out, so you look shorter than your date without slouching" stance.
You know, I never had a boyfriend who was visibly taller than me. I'm 6'1.5" so that's not particularly surprising! I had to dance with this guy at my school formal who was less than 5' tall, and I was wearing heels, and in one part of the dance you had to be spun under your arm, and I had to kind of squat down and twirl while he stretched up as high as he could. Such an awesome moment for us both...
I wish my prom date would have known this. Though 4'11" (me) and 5'9" + 3 inch heels = 6'0" (her) she needed to do more than fix her stance. Any taller and I would have been kissing her bellybutton. Puberty was cruel to me!
This guy was literally up to my bellybutton when we were in regular school shoes, and that was when we were about sixteen or seventeen. Oddly, I bumped into him a couple of years later and he was probably 5'8", literally a foot taller, and it took me quite a while to recognise him. I guess his growth spurt just came reeeeeeeally late. Being tall was awkward at times but I imagine being that short was worse0 -

I actually don't have any prom pictures....here is my first wedding (I am getting a divorce now - due to abuse/cheating). This dress was a size 18 (about 175 lbs), and now I am a size 8 (140 lbs).
March 2007 - ~175 lbs
May 2012 - 140 lbs
This is the smallest I HAVE EVER BEEN since I was like 12. I am very, very proud of that accomplishment.0 -
Fun thread! My senior prom 2001. 160 pounds size 12 dress. 5'11
It's before parents were okay with letting their daughters dress like hoochies for prom.
That is truly a princess dress! Beautiful!0 -
I didn't get a Prom, but her is the photo we had for a Christmas party in 2001. I am the one in blue and I made the dress and I hate this photo. I have no idea how much I weighed but I don't wanna look like this. I have since lost weight around my face and I have curves in the right places just need to tone, so gonna join a gym and start lifting! Planning on having a prom themed birthday party in January so hopefully I will have arms I can be proud of by then!0 -
All these photos are GREAT! Here are pictures of me before my Senior Prom, with my husband, in May of 2005 and a picture of him and I after our wedding in May 2011, in the same pose. I was about the same weight in both pictures, maybe a 15lb difference. 2005 was abt, 250 lbs and 2011 was about 265 lbs.
My dress was not black is was a pink/purple metallic, my hubby picked it out.
