For me a very disappointing 55 pounds in approx 8 months. That's about 1.7 pounds per week I think. Which isn't terrible.
But for so long I heard the bigger you were, the more pounds you were able to shed in the begninning and sadly I started off pretty big and I still am pretty big so I'm disappointed and discouraged despite being down 55 pounds. It really feels like at the 8 month mark it should be way more.0 -

Don't have to be disapointed at all. Slowly but steady is a great and healthy way to loose weight. You've lost 55lbs which is awesome. Keep up doing what you're doing. You're doing great.0 -

When I first joined in May 2011, I lost 9 pounds in about 2.5 months. I might skew to the low end because I am not overweight to being with, just high "normal" according to BMI.
Now... I am going to do that all over again.0 -

According to the system, 13 months and 16 lbs.
But for the first 5 I was gaining because of pregnancy. It's been just over 8 months now and I've lost 12 from my pre-pregnancy weight (and 29 from my weight just before he was born, but a lot of that was baby and related fluids and stuff). Still not overly impressive
I must say, a lot of the people here are really doing amazing things!0
