I guess a point is better than none, but from what I can tell (at work, so can't watch just now, but been reading BBC commentary) it doesn't sound like it was a terribly exciting match to watch. Am I wrong?

It was a slow match. The first half was good, but the second half was painful to watch. Both teams just lacked energy.

I will watch Italia game Sunday.....and will follow their games and keep track of who is in and who is out, but likely will not watch any other teams actually games....

Uff I haven't watched that match vs. España because I was in the middle of my sleep at that time. Stupid time zones :grumble:

If they would play him up front on his own, I think there would be more chance of that, but in the formation they've been playing, he's not given enough chances to score.

Yeah....he's going to be kicking himself for that for a while. Even if they turn in another goal.

I hope the Germany/Netherlands match is as exciting as it should be. These are two great teams that can play a beautiful game when they want to.

I'm crossing my fingers that we won't see a defensive strategy from either team. I wanna see some attacking football

haha, I know the real chances are very little for them - but my sympathy goes to Ukraine - 100% :-)

It would be wicked if the Ukraine wins, wouldn't have a problem with that - if Germany don't make it
