    “Nothing Gold can Stay” This is from one of my favorite books and my favorite movies, The Outsiders. It is a poem by Robert Frost. Ponyboy is reading the poem to Johnny when they are out in the yard and than when Johnny dies he leaves a letter and quotes the poem back to Ponyboy. Always makes me cry especially at the end of the letter when Johnny tells Ponyboy to “stay gold, and keep watching sunsets and dreaming.”
