    I recommend joining clubs that you would find interesting. I belonged to a tennis club in Fort Lauderdale and ended up meeting a few new people. Nothing panned out romantically, but it's definitely worth a shot. I want to join a country club in the near future and there are many social opportunities there.

    I tried pulling in a grocery store, but that can be tough. A lot of people always seem to be in a big hurry when they are shopping. Try this though.. hang out in the coffee isles and start staring at the Keurig cup coffees (or really anything for that matter). Sooner or later, someone cute will come by and then start asking them what kind of coffee they drink. Escalate the conversation from there and you should be set.
