    what is the strangest thing you have ever done/seen?

    OMG! My oldest has bi-polar and we were at her 3 mo, med check up and this mom was in the waiting room with her nightmare of a son. My daughter was a nightmare before she was diagnosed, it was pretty much a war zone. So we're sitting there, the 4 of us, and this mother had made several comments to her son and it was evident that she was extremely bad at being an effective parent. There turn to see the dr, so as they're waiting for the elevator she says to him, in a very serious manner;
    "do you WANT me to take you to a psychiatric hospital and leave you there??" she said this TWICE!

    wtf??

    I was totally floored. she gets in the elevator, door closes and I say, unfortunately kinda loud;
    "are you Fcking kidding me?" thankfully only my own kid was in the room, she was speechless! she said
    "damn. and I thought YOU were mean!"
