Jer, didn't you tell me once that you all don't have thin bagels in Canada?

I currently show Dressage but im slowly being pushed into Eventing because the horse i bought last year would do much better as an eventer. Do you know what either of those things are?

im a big baby when it comes to horror movies, did you know that while watching paranormal activity 3 i had someone tell me everything that was about to happen and i hid under a blanket for 60% of the movie?0

Yes, Jer is in Victoria.
And yes, I do know what both of those things are. I watched all of the equestrian Olympic stuff, and watch all of the Spruce Meadows events as well.... My wife was a top junior Hunter/Jumper. I keep promising to take her to Calgary for the Fall Classic, but who has the time?0 -
I go to spruce meadows every year for the masters. One of me best friends was regional champion in Hunter Jumper a few years back in B.C.
I am impressed most people have no clue what it is that i do.

Not as much. She had a string of three bad horses starting when she was 18, and stopped competing. She still rides once or twice a week, but between work and everthing else. Do you know how hard it is to find room for boxes of ribbons, plates, and coolers? Did you know I have been arguing for years that coolers and blankets are really only jackets for horses?0 -

did you know that all the extra coolers we have at home we use at blankets for watching T.V? they make great blankets.
She doesnt like the jackets for horses theory? i agree with you, rain jackets, winter jackets its all the same.
MikeyD didnt they make a song about it? a lot of the young girls at the barn will play it while they are training and it makes me snicker because they clearly dont get the context of the song.0 -

i would laugh and say yeah put his winter one on and make sure that you put the hood on.
Are horse people not rediculous? Did you know that i grew up riding western? that must be why i am not the typical hoyty toyty(how the hell do you spell that) Equestrian.0 -

Did you know that I am a western style rider too? I never got into anything for "sport" so to speak....it was all for working cattle and such.0 -

one of my friends used to ask me constantly if i rode bareback and when i responded yes he would laugh histarically... i didnt get what was so funny about riding bareback this went on for months when he finally told me that he was implying sex without a condom... do you know how dumb i felt? lol :laugh:0 -
