Ugh allergies. Our lack of summer temps has caused my fall allergy season to come a tad early. I WILL do something today for my last chance workout. I WILL! You have my word on that!

Well admitting you have a problem is the first step, right?0 -
Happy Tuesday everybody!!! :flowerforyou:
I am getting ready to go for my morning walk in a few minutes. Trying to figure out how tomorrow is going to go with 1 ds going to schoo and oldest dd school at home starts tomorrow. I have to make sure I am not so busy teaching her I forget about me. Then youngest dd starts her special preschool program in two weeks and that will complicate things more. I will make it work.

this is why you are my hero0 -
hey my friends--
I've been behind the 8ball since returning home-- trying to spend time with my kids, celebrate a birthday, pack and get my son off to college-- sniff-- piece of birthday cake Saturday, some pie tonight that grandma brought-- feeling like crap.
I'm blissfully not used to this food anymore-- I'm totally wiped. Plus, Sarah brought home some peanuts-- a 3 pound can of salted party peanuts-- from the Junior Solheim Cup-- I've measured them out, but the sodium is killing me-- plus the sugar-- enough-- NO MAS!!
Hey-- here is a link to the pictures I took at Sarah's event last week-- if you're inclined-- it was a lot of fun.

Turning in-- can't keep my eyes open-- will type in the morning--
Later--0 -
Morning black team. Good day. The scale was kind. I'm down 3.2 pounds just since Sunday when I was kicking my own behind. Why? Water weight, TOM? Whatever the reason, I was really afraid I would have to fight tooth and nail to see those pounds gone, so I'll take it.
I'm now 1/2 pound up from when I started here, in what? May. It seems to be the weight I keep going back to. I'm starting to think my body likes that weight. Hmmmm. What does my body know? I've got to convince it otherwise.
Hey, my bod used to be happy between 195 and 200, so I'll take being stuck between 154 and 155 any day!
Have a good one team!0 -

I know.......how can we fool our bodies into thinking 10 pounds less would be fine?? :bigsmile:0 -
4.5 pound loss this week!! Well I am down to 162 again, so I am losing the weight that I gained back after I left here. 7.5 more pounds and then I will be at the lowest weight I was in April. I am kicking my own butt right now for this, but at least I took control again before it was worse.0

Good morning black team!
Marla-so glad you had a wonderful trip. You deserved it. Welcome back! We missed you.
Amanda - the fact that your back in the saddle is what matters most.wtg this week. I'm so proud of you.
Lori - at the risk of coming off the wrong way....I don't think its TOM or water weight. I think its the result of you buckling down and doing what you need to do. Take some credit for your hard work this week. You deserve it.
To the rest of. Team. Love you guys! Have a great day!

Jeannie- we'll get there girl, I just lost my way for a short detour through a valley of cake, cookies, chocolate, pizza and ice cream. I'm back and the results of that detour got stuck on my *kitten*. We'll figure it out.
Tamara- state of mind is IT, hard to be there all the time, but I'm back for now.
Amanda- so glad you had a good week and are losing again.
Andrew- no you didn't come off wrong, I will take a little credit, but I ate like crap all last week until Saturday, 3.2 pounds from eating well Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and hitting the gym twice? If only it were that easy.
Remember that one week I was on a mission, I worked my *kitten* off, burned 5000 calories and ate well and gained weight? Now, that week, I would have been tooting my own horn.
I'm feeling like I'm getting into a good routine with the kids back in school. The only thing I'm still not happy with is the time I get to the gym. So silly. BUT, there are about 3 or 4 other people who always are there when I am, we talk, joke, laugh, complain (I know, hard to believe from me  ) together and it makes it so much more fun and my workouts go so much faster. Now I get there later and they are almost done. It feels like getting to a party late and every body is leaving. Guess I either need to get over it or find friends in the later crowd!0 -
I am sitting here drenched in sweat. I just got off that awful machine in my basement that when I go down there grins at me like the devil. It is a horrble thing, it a bike with arm handles that you move, kind of like the elliptical only your legs ride a bike. I have no idea what it is called, I call it the devil, either that or Jilllian Michaels dream of torture. It is hell to ride, my butt is miserable and the sweat pours off of me and my eyes water and I am sitting here feeling like I am something pretty special to make 30 minutes on that thing. My goal was 15 and I just keep going and going and going. 320 calories burnt, I did intervals on it and I have to tell you I am proud.0
-
I am acctually up 1 lb! But won't change my ticker, I will go back down for next week!0
-
Lori, I hope you find a later party crowd. Wasn't there a song once, "Looking for a party crowd"? It has to be hard to change routine, I am having a hard enough time changing my routine at home, so to go to the gym, it is rough to get off a schedule. Maybe you body will thank you for changing things up a bit.
Hi to Andrew, Beth, Marla, Jeannie, Tamara, Loree and everybody else!
Sam, I miss you, hope you are having a wonderful vacation!!0 -
Hey Team!
Up three this week- ugh. It sucks to admit it, but I am glad to put it out here and be accountable for it. It wasn't eating too much as much as making not so great choices this past weekend (read: 4 beers and some amazing, but salty food). We went to our last wedding of the season and enjoyed ourselves...perhaps a little too much. Oh well, now I can really get back to my normal food and exercise routine. Thank goodness for all the running, because I used my rest days as excuses to be lazy. I shudder to think where I'd be if I weren't doing that. So, yesterday, one of my rest days I went to the gym and did a half hour in reverse mode on the elliptical. Felt good about that.
Hope you are all having a great day!y'all!

Amanda- great job on your torture device.
Shuntae- it's like confession coming here and telling all that you did bad. I like it. Makes me feel better for some reason. I think part of it for me is I know you all get it and understand.
I decided that I should take Jeannie's advice on not only writing down how good it feels to exercise but how much it hurts when I stop for a while!
My pecs are finally not screaming too loud, good thing, they are on the agenda again tomorrow. Yesterday was legs. Squats. *whimper*0 -
Good job everyone including me for jumping back on this band wagon just in time for Sam to come home from vacation. I am proud of myself that for lunch today I actually ate something different. I have been having the same ole same ole, but when I went to eat lunch with my princess today I heard one of the teacher says she made golish and that sounded good so I went to the store after I left her and bought me cucumbers, onions, bell pepper, zucchini, squash, cherry tomatoes and grilled them in a pan with olive oil spray with a tad bit of tabasco sauce, talk about yummy. It was time consuming to cut up everything, dont know if I would have time for that when the baby is here (wednesday) is my day from here her, but for today change was good.0
-
I've been missing in action because my grandson was here. Okay so technically the g baby and his mom and dad but you get my drift. They are back home again so I have no excuses.:grumble:
Good job on the losses, kids back to school, vacations, new exercises, etc!
Lucky you! Ahhh. sigh.....a grandbaby. It isnt like I want any one of my kids to have a baby right now............I just want a grandbaby.
Sweetest feeling in the world to hold that bundle of blessings in you arms and then hand him back when he doesn't smell so good.:laugh:0 -
just popping in for a quick hey--
Read everyone's posts briefly-- so happy we're all coming back together-- I told a dear friend about you, and hope she comes to join us.
You rock-- Amanda, really happy to see you back.
Shuntae, you did great for a summer of weddings-- you know what to do to get those rascally 3 back off-- get 'er done, woman.
Tamara-- way to go with the veggies-- good choices = good results.
Bobbi-- dear friend-- so glad Jim's back at work-- glad you had some precious time with your wee ones!
Andrew-- you are just DA MANNNN, my friend.
Beth-- woot woot for the big 5-0! ( somehow I don't think I'll be wooting when it's your age, so I'd take it now)
Leckel-- my friend-- you're getting right back going in the right direction. Way to go-- see? you are a new person-- wonderful to know, eh? You didn't use your vacation as an excuse to continue spiraling.
Jeannie-- I've been thinking of you and your "Marla"-- I've had mucho, mucho success since heeding the wolf. I don't know how much sugar you ingest, but I have cut it all out (minus the confession of last night of the cake/pie double whammy) and I'm down about 7 pounds since then-- and have lost it all in my squishy belly. Food for thought-- pardon the pun.
Lynnie-- hope your baby's on the mend -- hope the surgery went well.
Renae-- hope all is well, my friend-- stay on target--
Janiebeth? Wherefore art thou?
Sam-- looking forward to hear your vacation stories-- hope you wowed 'em all!
Everyone else-- I know I've forgotten a ton-- God bless us all this day, my friends--
Later!0 -
good morning black team!! today i got on the scale and was AMAZED to see that i was 149.6!! which means i have lost 50 POUNDS!!! OMG...i am so happy right now.
WTG Beth!!!!!:flowerforyou:0 -
Marla- when you say you cut out all sugar, tell more. Not your fruits and such right? Mostly sweets? After Jeannie mentioned sugar I saw and article on sugar intake in the American diet. Now I'm wondering if I eat too much.....
Edit: Just switched over my fiber tab to sugar on my food diary. I always eat a ton of fiber, not really something I have to track. Indeed, yesterday I was over by 63 grams- actually more cause I had a smoothie that I didn't calculate sugar info.
However, my sugar that it counted came from Kashi Go Lean crunch cereal, banana, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon and milk. Then about 13 from a Fiber One bar, 2 slices of wheat bread, laughing cow cheese and almonds.
The article I read said the recommended daily amount comes from added sugars, it didn't include those found naturally in fruits. The problem is there is no distinction in labels- or our food tracker.
Is it a wonder I'm over on carbs? All those fruits and bread like stuff. :ohwell:0 -
I got on the scale this morning after a good 4.75 mile run and it said 166.5. I am excited to be down
3.5 lbs. It is rewarding to have the scale move when you have a good week. So here is to another week of journaling my food and hopefully that will get the same results.0 -
Happy Wednesday Team!
That's it.:flowerforyou: :drinker:

That's Super, Sarah-- ha-- way to go--
Lori, I'm watching all added sugars. It's amazing how it is snuck into absolutely everything we buy. Even "good" wheat bread has it in there-- at least the stuff I can afford.
I bought Kashi 7 Grain Nuggets with no added sugar, rice cakes, all natural peanut butter with no added sugar-- if it has sugar on the label, I stay away from it.0 -
Hello everyone! How is it all going?? I have been busy doing a bunch of nothing really. Trying to get my music situated on my computer and MP3 player and takes forever! hope all is well. I think the scale was up a pound this morning. I have been fluctuating for a couple of weeks now. Uugghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!0
-
BUMP! Night guys!!!!
:drinker:0 -
I never click on the thing on my home page on here to finish the day and where it says 'if every day were like today'. Since I really logged all my foods I thought I would.
It said I would weigh 3/10 of a pound less in 5 weeks. Now that's progress baby! Although, it sounds about right...... :ohwell:0 -
So I am back full swing. Gained acouple pounds but heck I have been at this for awhile and I am not going to let that bother me. It is coming off quickly. I should say out quickly. hahaha
Parties went off OK. MIL went out and got her own cake after all the trouble I went through to make the one I did. But what ever all of mine was eaten and a third of hers had to be thrown out cause it went bad.
Walked only a couple of days but was out walking and other things most of the days.
Had MIL ask hubs why I was on the computer so much? He said I was fine but asked him if his Mom thought I needed a hearing aid and if she had a problem with it maybe she should have talked to me. I am the last person she should be worrying about being on the computer when her 14 year old son doesn't go to bed until 5 in the am because he is on the computer. went out that day and walked 2.5 miles in 30 minutes. I was pissed and didn't want to be there with her any longer.
The only person who said anything about how I looked was hubs' cousin and her bestie that I have seen about 3 times EVER!!! and of course the ladies on my side of the family!
sounds like everyone went on with out me. We had some BT meet that is fun. We also has some come back! (amanda) welcome back. we even had someone who reached goal before this group set up join back in!!!:drinker: :flowerforyou:
Glad to be back in my house missed my bed and my mom but truelly don't want to be here any longer!!
My back still hurts so I am off to bed!! night all!
PS I also learned that I am allergic to ragweed! I guess it was real bad up there and every morning I woke up with itchy eyes and a runny nose I went through about 45 allergy pills in 2 weeks!!!:noway: SUCKED!!!0
