run. best thing ever for me.

if not that, anything active. works as a sort of moving meditation - only thing you can think about is what you are doing at that particular moment in time,

Drinking. Trying to find other, lower calorie things to do. I am an aromatherapist, so I have my anti-stress blends I use when it gets too bad. A long walk or bike ride is good, but usually my stress is caused by being trapped at home with the kids and not able to get out alone.

Hookers and blow. It's kind of ironic.

Breathe. Don't hold your breath (you might not realise you're doing it).

Try and see things clearly, how they really are, not how they have been perceived.

Hope you get some let up. I hate stress, I am terrible at handling it (so ignore my post!!)

Problem is much of my stress is financial so this makes it even worse...

I walk. Have a stressful job. I go through all my emails and tasks and then about 10:30 am I go for a walk. About a mile and a half. By the time I get back, I usually have a plan.

Works better than crawling up on a freeway overpass with a sniper rifle.

Hmmmm... guess shopping is out too then. That's a big one for me. I also stress eat, which I'm trying to get away from but it sneaks up on me some just the same.

    Nap
    Run
    Ride
    Play Frisbee with the dog.
When I'm stressing over money, it usually helps to sit down and take a hard look at things and try to make a plan to make it better.

    Good luck.
If those don't work, there are always hookers and blow :-p They won't solve your problems, but you probably won't be able to remember them!

First, I differentiate "stress" from "pressure".
Being under pressure just means that we're pushing ourselves, and that's always good.
Stress is caused by toxic people and situations.
I handle that by cutting such things from my life. I sever poisonous relationships and disengage from situations that are stressful.
Life is too short. Just remember, you are in charge and success is a choice.

I nap. Or go to the gym. Or ignore it until the stressful situation goes away.

I am a student, so when I think stress, I think "5 papers due this week". So I literally just bust my butt getting it done, and that's that.

I have a bit of an OCD issues that causes me to pull my hair out when I'm stressed. Needless to say that sucks balls. So I try to find other, non-destructive ways to deal with it. Exercise, moving, typing/writing, reading, hot bath, etc
