The last time I was asked this question, I was told that I was asking for way too much and was promptly dismissed. LOL - I don't ask for much - I honestly want someone that will appreciate me for who I am - the good and the bad...because I will do the same.0

I want a man who makes me laugh every day and rarely makes me cry. Someone I can trust and, almost as importantly, someone who has as much faith in me. I want a man who's strong and macho on the outside but with soft romantic heart that only I get to see. I want him to be a better person than I am so that he inspires and leads me to always try harder to be the person I'm trying to be. I want him to be so passionate and excited about life that he makes me believe everything is possible as long as we're together. He should be thoughtful, introspective and have a thirst for new ideas and experiences and the drive to make those experiences a reality.
And, oh yeah...he has to be super freaky in the sac.
Unfortunately, since waiting for that guy hasn't been working out so great, I'll settle for just make me laugh and rarely make me cry. :yawn:0 -

He needs to be honest, trustworthy and dependable AND trust that I am those things to, because I am. He must have goals for himself. Too many of the men I meet my age (mid to late 20s) are too busy sitting on the couch with their XBox to even THINK about what they want to do with their lives. Obviously there has to be a physical attraction too. I dont need a body builder, but I take decent care of myself and I expect the person I am with to do so as well.0

I used to have that list, you know the one....funny, smart, ambitious, handsome, blah blah blah. All that is still good, but I've realized the two most important things are a man that has hobbies(aside from drinking/partying/being social), and values me.
A man with hobbies is usually content with himself, isn't needy, and can entertain himself when he isn't included in plans (like girls night).
The worst thing is being with a guy that won't let you be you because he doesn't know how to be him. Plus their life is pretty uninteresting and monotonous.
Treat me with respect and value the time we have together. Because honestly, if a man isn't going to value the time he has with me, I can be around tons of other people that do.
But if he's smart, funny, and handsome that wouldn't hurt either.

Intense
Intelligent and educated (self educated is fine)
Compatible sense of humor (that's where Firefly fans come in handy)
Compatible romantically and attractive to me
Feels about me the way I do about him
Honest
Doesn't do drugs
Doesn't drink more often than I do (or much more, anyway. Three or four times a year is fine)
Self Confident but not arrogant
Not the kind of extrovert that insists on dragging me everywhere and also gets that sometimes I need to be alone
Political leftist and knowledgeable about politics
Lives somewhere or is willing to move somewhere cold (I don't care if I meet the man of my dreams tomorrow, if it involves having to keep living here or anyplace like it, I'm not interested)
Doesn't expect anything from me I either can't deliver or simply don't want to (minor things like not dripping water all over the bathroom floor after my shower don't count)
Reads for enjoyment
Bathes regularly (had to get that one in there somewhere)

Well i have two types that are completely different.
1) Scruffy, alot of hair, musical, calm, doesnt take too much to heart, fun and adventurous, dark hair, dark eyes.
2) Big and buff, takes care of self, works out, eats clean, strong, funny and protective.
The reason:
