My favorite is romaine and spinach with a diced fuji apple, 1 T low fat blue cheese, 1 T chopped walnuts, and 1 T Newman's low fat balsalmic vinaigrette. It is absolutely wonderful and less than 200 calories. For more oomph, add chicken. Yum, yum, yum...I eat this nearly every day.

Try some dried cranberries in there. This is my favorite too!

These are great!!! So exciting to hear all the ideas. My fav is a chicken and shrimp fajita salad:

    grilled shrimp
    grilled chicken
    boiled eggs
    red leaf lettuce
    onions
    bell pepper
    cheese
    avocado

I LOVE making my own salad dressing. I never thought I would! Here is mine:
    lemon juice
    white wine vinegar
    spicy mustard
    honey
    olive oil
    whisk it all together
    EXCELLENT!

  • These all sound so good! Dumb question form the new kid but how do I save these in my favorites? All I know is if I reply then its in my topics. Is that all I need to do or am I missing a place for "favorites"

I use lemon juice as dressing. it is SO SO SO good! And the solution for extra calories via dressing! I actually don't like any other kind of dressing, so it works well :)

    Slivered raw almonds
    Roma tomatoes

    Home made Asian Ginger Dressing

    Recipe for dressing:

    INGREDIENTS:

    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 lemon, juiced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
    1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
