I love that you posted this.

I actually thought of this today, but stayed home instead.

All my friends went to the beach, and I stayed home to finish up all the errands I never have time for with working 50+ hours a week and ended up finishing early...

So long story short...I've been dying to go to the Zoo all season! Just impossible with my schedule to make plans with friends to do so!

Absolutely. I do it all the time. But I live about 5 minutes from ours, and it's free to get in, so I like to use it as a very scenic place to exercise...haha.

Do it. The people who volunteer there will be happy to have somebody to talk to, and the animals will be just as awesome. :)

    Yes.

I love the zoo. I try to go every year for my birthday. some years friends are at work, so I just go. I love the zoo; big ones, little ones, it doesn't matter.

I thinks I'd be happier if I could get a job at a zoo. I'd volunteer, too, but I don't live close to a zoo.

    Go to the zoo!

Nope. But I'm going to the zoo with my boyfriend next month. I'm super excited.

    Zoos- okay alone
    Movies, restaurants - okay alone.
Skydiving - no, don't go alone.
Spelunking - always bring a friend.

I'm going to buck the trend and ask: will you enjoy it if you go alone? If the answer is maybe or no, how about you wait a bit. It'll still be there in a few months time. I'll see a film alone every week, but I wouldn't go to the zoo alone, I'd consider it more of a special occasion.

Really? What's wrong with living one's life that includes a "special occasion" for yourself?

Go to the zoo! post some pics here for us. have someone at the zoo take your pic and post that one too. at the end of the day you'll be smiling and saying to yourself, "I had a great day for me today and it was really fun!"

    Go!
