I had a bariatric surgeon tell me that I would fail at taking the weight off, and keeping it off unless I allowed him to operate on me. I want to prove him wrong.

For the scale: "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit"
For the gym: "I am a gladiator, this is my arena!"0 -
i use what our leader said repeatedly at weight watchers "which do i want more". sometimes the answer is "i would rather be thinner" but sometimes the answer is "i want ______ more". It has also kept me from feeling too deprived. Best of luck. Hope you find your perfect mantra0

When I first started my journey I wrote this quote on a piece of paper and I read it every morning: "Out of the darkness and into the light". Now my favorite is: "Cowboy Up".:happy:0

Things I tell myself daily/weekly:
"Sitting on your *kitten* won't make you a size 8."
"The only person you'll disappoint is yourself, and that's the one person you DON'T want to disappoint."
"If you sit here at home, 40 minutes will blink away. You could have spent that 40 minutes at the gym."
And my version of the one above: "In an hour, you'll wish you would have gone to the gym now."
"Nothing is as hard as knowing you let yourself down."0 -
