    You cared enough to post about it.

    It is important because there is still a lot of hatred, discrimination, and violence against gay people. When that's a thing of the past, celebrities won't need to come out.

    Sadly, I think I'll be dead and gone before when we move past this and treat people based on content of character versus who they love.

    Who is Anderson Cooper anyway and why should I care if he's gay or not? I'd never heard of him before reading this thread, and I still don't know anything about him other than the fact that he's gay and that some women are a little disappointed by that because they find him attractive.

    I can't believe that anyone does not know who Anderson Cooper is! That makes me kinda sad......

    I'm not surprised there are people who don't know who Anderson Cooper is. It's not like he's a king or something.

    Never heard of the dude. Crap, now I'm going to have to google him just to find out why I should care about his sexuality. Or not. I think I'll go with not.

    Why is everyone making such a big deal about Anderson Cooper 'coming out' about being gay? I could care less. He's gay, good for him. Why is this even in the news? People in this country are too concerned about sexual orientation and sexual preference. Live and let live.
