I would not describe myself as a huge fan, however if ur a fan of hard rock & u spew hatred of them u really are misguided, as they r really the only.band that is carrying the flag of rock in popular music....theyre still better than 99% of whats in the top 40.....

I'm not misguided.. have you HEARD the clips of two of their songs put together and they sound damn near TOO CLOSE to identical? yea, they are sooo original and amazing.. said no one ever.

I hate them. I'll admit to it. They are not hard rock, not good and are so completely talentless that it hurts me to even listen to a song by them. Does top 40 suck worse? Nope, just as bad. They all suck.

I'm sticking with the tried and true REAL rockers like the boss. He can sing the ABC song and I will buy it because at least he can sing.

They suck, end of story. There are tons of other bands that are a million times better that you will never hear of because you only know whats on the charts and on the radio. It's not talent that gets you on those, it's marketing.

First off u will find no bigger fan of Slash/Myles than me& I woulfnt even put nickelbsck in my top 50, but the hatred for them is irrational n misguided IMO

I do not like them but I don't hate them, I just turn the channel when it comes on. I think a lot of the Nickelback hate comes from 1.) they really are a mediocre band, and 2.) it's reached meme status. Didn't you see the video they made a while ago making fun of themselves and the fact that everyone hates them?

I personally don't like a lot of the top 40 music right now (I lunge towards the radio to change the station whenever Rhianna comes on) so I just stick to Pandora and listen to Frank Sinatra radio.

I have seen them live... My little sister could not go to the concert unless supervised and as a testament to how much they suck, the tickets were buy one get one free...and it was the WORST live concert I have ever been to. And I have seen Backstreet Boys in concert...just sayin.

Their music is MUCH better than the Rap or top forty music that some people consider music.

I lunge for the radio any time Nicky Minaj comes on too. That is how you know it is bad when you don't even take the extra second to change the channel, I just turn the radio off completely to ensure my ears are not assaulted.

I wouldn't mind NB if their recipe for a song was more than one sentence, chorus, one sentence, repeat chorus, background music goes down, one sentence, music comes back with a vengeance along with chorus to a screaming end. Seriously every song is this way. If they could, I don't know, try something different, maybe I'd listen.
