So I'm new on here, looking for support like the rest of you. I thought it would be fun for us all to say a few things about our selves. Stuff that has nothing to do with losing weight. I mean, we're all more than just what we're trying to do to lose weight, right? And it's easier to get support from people if we know more about them besides just what they weigh. :) I'll go first:

My name is Angel, I'm 19 and I have two kids. I really enjoy reading. I really like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Batman, so I guess I'm kind of a nerd. Ha. I don't admit that to many people. Right now I am a stay at home mom, and I'm going back to school next spring. I would like to be a teacher. I have the greatest boyfriend in the world, he takes such good care of us. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I'm working really hard to straighten things out. I'm pretty friendly, so just message me if you want to talk about anything. :)

    I'm Stephanie, I'm 26 and mom of 2. I work in a hospital lab drawing blood. My husband and I have been married 6 years (next month). As soon as I reach my goal weight, I'm applying for nursing school. :)

    I'm Khloe. I am 25 and a mother of three. Im married to a wonderful man. This September will be 2yrs. I work full time as an on call security guard and I am going to school for criminal justice and business management. I'm losing weight because i always wanted to go to the Air Force and I have finally made my mind up to pursue my dream before its too late.

    I'm Gaby, 22, and a college student studying engineering. I have a job on-campus as a IT helpdesk worker. I hope to someday be a field researcher in nanotechnology, so I'm going to be in school forever pretty much.
    My favorite animals are cephalopods- Cuttlefish and octopi. I have a giant, colorful octopus tattoo on my back/shoulder as well as other small tattoos scattered.

    Im a married 38 year-old woman with a 19yr old daughter who is preparing to go off to college next month. I work as a full time Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist, I have a part time catering side business that I hope someday will become my full time work - I spent many years working as a Chef and dont have any desires to get rid of it.

    When Im not working my tail off, I am a Bassoon player for a symphonic group and an orchestral group where we hold free concerts and fundraiser-events for our community.

    my name is david i am 50 i am a physical therapist and cycling is my passion. i am going to compete in the annual seattle to portland bicycle classic next weekend 210 miles in 2 days. i am married to the same amazing woman for the past 28 years and we have 6 children 5 boys and 1 girl.

    Thought I would reply especially as we've just become friends :)

    I'm 25 and have 2 children with my bf who I've been with since I was 14! I am an open university student studying towards a humanities specialising in creative writing degree and I'm in my second year. I start creative writing module later this year and a psychology course (as an optional) at the beginning of next year, after which I will receive my certificate of higher education in humanities :)
    Both my kids birthdays are in July (10 days apart) so this month I've been busy buying presents and eating cake haha. I have a white German shepherd (which people call a wolf lol) named Mika and a cat called Twiggy who is scared of her own shadow.
    I recently moved to a place I love and these past few months I've felt the most positive about life. :)

    I'm 42 yr and I don't have any children. However, I have volunteered with a Gospel Performing Arts group for the last 15 yrs. So, I actually have about 200 kids, Lol! Aside from volunteering, I'm a courier for FedEX Express (by the way, if you see any FedEX truck coming down the street in this HOT weather with an open door, it's because the truck isn't air conditioned. So, please get out the way. He he). I am also a part time student majoring in Business Management. Lastly, I love playing the drums (just started 4 months ago), writing poetry, scrapbooking (even though I haven't had time to do it in awhile) and playing racquetball/tennis.

    My name is Jess and I just turned 27 (Ahhh!) I have an awesome 2 yr old daughter that is my heart. I work as a medical assistant in a family practice office, but will be starting a new career as an instructor for medical assistants and insurance billers. I'm so excited for something new in my life and I'm proud of myself for finally getting healthy and making better decisions.

I am biracial, and have naturally curly ringlets. I have wanted to be a Midwife since I was 6 years old. I am 5"5. I love animals and babies.

    Starbucks is the BEST! I've been a vegetarian for almost a year as well (actually, I don't eat meat but I love real cheese and eggs. I tried the imitation cheese-as a pizza-just didn't work for me. Lol. I've been natural for a couple months now, and I love my hair texture! Anyway, happy hair growing! I hope you take pix.

    I'm Chris, I’m 20 years old, I am a 2nd year university student studying psychobiology on a pre-medicine track; hoping to become a doctor of neurology or psychiatry in the near future. I work for my university as a residence life ambassador (think concierge since my university turns in to a pseudo-hotel over the summer). I tried going to the Navy right of high school but received an eye socket fracture in boot camp and was discharged; I plan on going back as an officer. I currently stand at 6' 3" and weigh 222lbs; I am hoping to drop to 200 in the next 12 weeks. I love to read, I like video games, and I can understand Latin.

    I'm Carin, 28 y/o, 2 kids- 2y/o boy(almost 3) and a 4y/o girl. I got married when I was 17.. separated now.. he walked out (another woman) when our son was 4 months. I am a CNA(certified nurse aide) but not currently working. hoping to return to work and school when my kids are both in school(next fall). I had been working on getting an ADN/RN degree, took all the general classes the first few years out of high school but I never turned in my application to the clinical program. now, I'm not sure that is what I want to pursue.. I'd really like to become an ultrasound tech but there are no schools around here that offer it (a 2 hr drive to the closest one) and the same from where I could live with my granddad.. so I'm considering radiology instead since the local tech college does offer that.

    I am 51 years young, just moved to the Atlanta area from Tampa Bay, Florida for a job promotion, which is a dream job for me ( and any sports fan), I work for a large airline and oversee the charter operation for sports teams and military charters. Working with all these professional sports teams ( and even NCAA college sports teams) and Military troops, has made me focus on my own health more!! GO RAYS!! ( and Mets!)
