    I think "extremely" obese is somewhat subjective, but I was considerably obese before. I am now healthy. :bigsmile:

    Not sure if I was extremely obese yet in this picture, but I would guess I was about 240-250ish on the left, and at 180 on the right. I'm 5'8.

    Next time you are feeling unmotivated about the amount you have lost, head to the grocery store and pick up some sacks of potatoes. If you've lost 20 pounds, grab 20 pounds of potatoes and just hold them up for a minute. Its incredibly motivating to realize exactly how much that measly 20 weighs. You'll float out of the store, I promise.

    I know that everyone is different... but..... Your progress is awesome. I been doing this for 7 months and have only lost 15 pounds. I am so discouraged. but NOT about to quit!!!

    That's me! It took me about a year. Though to be fair, I'm not quiiiiiite at an average BMI yet but I'm pretty close.

    I was around 200 when I got pregnant. Ballooned to 238. This is me about 3 weeks before she was born. March 2010

    She turned 2 in March and I've pretty much stalled out. I look the same as the last picture. I keep going back and forth between 165 and 170. I got down to 162 at one point, and as high as 174. I'm currently at 166.
