    I LOVE being in my 40's -- physically I feel as good as I did when I was 25...minus the pre-kids abs and boobs though :laugh: Mentally and emotionally it's awesome. :drinker:

    I remember when I turned 40, for 1 minute I was sad because at the time there was a show that I used to watch called 30 something and I wasn't going to be 30 something anymore. after 1/2 hr, I was over it. no big deal now. I will be 55 this may. I'm a runner, have done a 1/2 marathon. I am a year round bike commuter (going on my 3rd year) and every year do a 2day bike ride (hilly) that is about 150 miles. Also will be doing a marathon (I run in vibrams 5 finger shoes) and I have been at my goal weight for over a year now. so, I would say, i'm doin pretty good! ;0)
