24 lbs in 40 days. I've done it by exercise (Cardio & Weights) and eating healthy. So just set your mind to it. If I can do it, anyone can do it!!!! :-)0

Hey a clean diet and running in the morning is awesome!! That should give you some good results which will keep you going and make you forget about temptations. Nice.
I lost twenty in a few months last yr and have kept it off. Im at my goal weight now but I constantly slip, gain a few lbs and take them right off again. I've got to stop doing that!!! I have been writing down my food daily in Mfp for almost two years and that, working out regularly and support have been my secret to being able to lose weight. And don't forget to rest...that's when all the good stuff happens. Get lots of sleep and take days off exercise.
Have fun and good luck.0 -
21 lbs. lost since April 13.
Sometimes I feel down and like I can't do this anymore, but everyone feels like that every once in a while. Just never never never never give up.
I still have about 25 lbs. more to lose, but if I made it this far, I can certainly keep going!
I'm going to have a mental celebration when I weigh less than my boyfriend. Hopefully, that'll happen pretty soon0 -
I have lost 146 pounds in the last 11 months! I still have a lot to lose -- another 80 pounds to go!0

I'm 5'2 I started around 145/150. My goal is 110 pounds. I've lost 30 so far0

I'm basically at half of my highest weight!
easiest and best thing I have ever done!
I put my mind to it by using some of the same psychology I used for quitting smoking and don't ever see myself going back to either being fat or smoking, ever...0 -
Keeping off total of 34 lbs (up and down a couple) for the past three years, with help of MFP.0

I just started (again) in late May. But this time, I am NOT dieting. I am making changes I can live with for the rest of my life. Eating more fresh fruits and veggies, and lean proteins. NO sodas at all. Not even diet. And NO refined processed foods.
I've lost 26 pounds. But I've a long way to go to reach my goal weight. Baby steps... :-)0 -

When I left the hospital after having my daughter, I was at over 180 lbs (in 2008). It's been a slow process for me (especially these last 10 lbs) but I'm at 138 now!0

Hi! I have lost 108lbs as of today! I've been at this on and off for 2 years. How? Well 70lbs was lost when I found out I had Gestational diabetes in my pregnancy, then I gained 25.5 back and in September of 2011 I decided to start at it again, this time instead of counting carbs I count calories. I am one who eats 1200 calories and it works for me. I workout, jog, walk, dance, slim in 6 but haven't been able to work out all week because doctor said so, I passed a kidney stone and had a cyst bust on my ovaries all at the same time this week and my doc told me to take it easy this week. So back to it next week. My body feels the pain of no workout this week but I've dropped 4lbs this week due to the water I'm sure it was holding on to.

Nice progress!
Back surgery? My hubby has nearly the same scar except his scar is from the cervical spine to the T6ish vertebrae. =/ He had a fusion surgery from t1-t6.0 -
13 pounds lost by the beginning of May. I probably put about 5 pounds back on from pure gluttony, but I think I've nearly lost them all0

I've only lost 15 lbs so far, but I've got quite a bit of my journey to go.
Portion control has been the biggest thing, in my opinion. Once I realized how many calories I was really eating it snapped me into shape, so to speak.
I've started working out 5+ days a week now. My body is still adjusting to it and I've been retaining fluids for a week, but I know I'll see progress next week or later on.0 -
