Hmm - so I'm noticing the photos I submitted to this thread were pretty early into my weight loss, and some ladies had mentioned that they were helpful.

I hope that showing ones from a little further along would be even more helpful! The belly area definitely kept getting better. Shortly after these photos I got pregnant again, and have just had my son - so we're back at this .

I have to say, although my belly has gotten smaller, it has still had the "W" and pooch with the stretchmarks of pregnancy.

Only since I added running to my yoga have I started to notice that pooch smoothing more. I think the use of my legs is tightening up my lower abs?

Anyway- it can be done !I will posts pics to prove it when I hit goal!

Such an amazing thread!! Congrats on all the hard work ladies!!!
Though I would share my story :) (sorry, lots of pics!)
So, unfortunately I can't find any full body shots from "before" but honesty, I mostly hid from cameras, and it really didn't occur to me to take pics when I started my weight loss journey.
I have 5 children and it wasn't until after #2 that I decided to make some changes.
This is after 2 kids and weighing just over 200lbs

Had baby number 2 9 weeks ago.

My first pregnancy I gained a lot and didn't lose it before #2 but with this pregnancy I managed to not gain too much and here I am 9 weeks pp.

I have lost around 5-7lbs since the birth and am happy so far, now just need to tone up and lose the rest :)

WOW!!! You are all such an inspiration! I had my first baby umm 4 years ago haha. I didn’t put on a ton of weight so I guess the weight I have isn’t really baby weight but I am trying to lose about 40lbs so that I can have my second baby at a healthy weight as I did before. Seeing all you and your amazing transformations makes me inspired and know that I will lose this weight and then lose it again once I have my second baby at some point in the future! Again all you mommies look absolutely amazing!

Me too! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm amazed at the way your stretch marks have faded as well. I've always worried that even if I lost the weight, I'd still have horrible, horrible stretch marks EVERYWHERE, but you give me hope :)

    Thank you so much

you made me cry - in a good way.

i had an emergency C-section and i had just accepted that even if i lost the weight i would always have a gross belly. But now I think maybe there is hope. i hadn't tried losing the weight before because i always figured that it was pointless. i would always have that overhang. but now i think maybe it will be ok, and its worth a shot. maybe it wont turn out the way i want it to. but i will never know unless i try.

    thank you (still crying)
  • I'm only on day 2 of my journey, There's so much inspiration here! My "baby" is almost 11, but I still have that c-section pooch... Thanks for the reassurance that it can be GONE.

Due to pregnancy i once weighed in at a prime 316 lbs. It IS possible to get back close to shape... cant say much for the damn stretch marks... but i consider them my stripes.. and earned every one of those and wouldnt trade them for the world!
  • wow! great job!! You look fantastic!!! if you don't mind me asking how tall are you?

I just love all the pics!!! All of you are just inspiring! I hope to follow in the same path as you all! I am 46 so I keep thinking i have started too late, I am 5'9" with 50 pounds to lose. I have three beautiful children no csections, and they were all 9 to 10lbs. I still have many stretch marks and a lot of flab since the third.
