Had baby number 2 9 weeks ago.
My first pregnancy I gained a lot and didn't lose it before #2 but with this pregnancy I managed to not gain too much and here I am 9 weeks pp.
I have lost around 5-7lbs since the birth and am happy so far, now just need to tone up and lose the rest
aww your preggie belly is so gorgeous!!
You are looking fabulous x0 -
Such an amazing thread!! Congrats on all the hard work ladies!!!
Though I would share my story (sorry, lots of pics!)
So, unfortunately I can't find any full body shots from "before" but honesty, I mostly hid from cameras, and it really didn't occur to me to take pics when I started my weight loss journey.
I have 5 children and it wasn't until after #2 that I decided to make some changes.
This is after 2 kids and weighing just over 200lbs
Now if have a major gap where I can't find pictures lol
This is my 7 weeks pregnant pic with baby #5!
This is one week before giving birth (she was born 37 weeks)
This is me now (just started p90x3 so first pic is after one week, second pic is after 4 weeks)
And as you can see in this pic.... Stretch marks are still there but faded and barely noticeable
So yes it's possible! And I've managed to maintain through 3 pregnancies, and a horrible car accident.
Wow! Really happy for you!0 -

I was 26 when I had my daughter I did have to have a C-Section I was 220lbs when I was pregnant and am now down to 130lbs
Thank you so much
you made me cry - in a good way.
i had an emergency C-section and i had just accepted that even if i lost the weight i would always have a gross belly. But now I think maybe there is hope. i hadn't tried losing the weight before because i always figured that it was pointless. i would always have that overhang. but now i think maybe it will be ok, and its worth a shot. maybe it wont turn out the way i want it to. but i will never know unless i try.
thank you (still crying)
Dolly you just gave me goosebumps......It is possible and you can do it! It's hard work but it can be done and I'm here if you have any questions or just having a hard day or just need support!
You look AMAZING!!!!0 -
This is so inspirational ladies - well done you!!!! Gives me hope that with some hard work I can look good again too! Thank you :-)0

Wow! After three c-sections and emergency surgery, I figured I'd never get my belly back. Now I've been challenged to try.0

Love this! Thank you all for sharing. I'm just starting but hopefully this thread will be around for me to post success pictures eventually0

Everyone's stories are very inspirational. I was doing really good last year and then, what seems like all of a sudden, I've gained back 27 lbs. After 4 kids (19, 13, 7, 6) I really need to get back on track.
You all look incredible, keep it up!!0 -

Great inspiration thanks! My problem is the split abs... getting those back in first and then will work on them but for now just doing overall full body workouts with modified abs. TIME is what it's going to take me!0

So many beautiful Momma's in this thread!
I've had 5 kiddos, my smallest was 9lbs 13oz and my biggest was 11lbs 6oz. I've had one c/s (and not even for the heaviest baby!). My most recent kiddo is 2 1/2 (VBAC). My kids are all 3+ years apart. What has always killed me is that my body fights weight loss when I'm nursing, all my kids have nursed past 2.5 years. So right about the time my body would chill, hormones would get normal, weight would come off I'd get pregnant again. Repeat for the last 18 years!!
The youngest is the last one and I'm finally, finally ready to shed all the weight. Highest weight was 255, currently down 60 lbs. Sadly, I don't have very elastic skin so I'm afraid that I'll have a lot of loose skin when all is said and done. I already have loose, wrinkly skin on my stomach and I still have plenty of fat to loose.
I'm mostly ok with it. My goal is healthy. I want to be healthy enough to play with all the Grandkids I hope to be blessed with someday. I love that I can go run, hike and bike with my big kids and rough house and give horsey rides with my little kids and not get worn out. I want to be the strong Mom. I don't need to be the bikini body Mom, I got over that in my 20s. Been there, done it. Now I have kids who look to me as a model of what femininity and motherhood should be. It's a real reality check for me when I think about what I want my girls to value in themselves and my boys to value in a partner. The last thing I hope they think about it a perfect flat belly, no stretch marks, etc.
Anyway, love your post baby bodies. They are beautiful and perfect. Just like your perfect beautiful kiddos, who will think you are beautiful unless you teach them via example to see faults in your body, and thus their own.0 -
I'm glad to be reading this - I have had 11 kids - one is a set of twins who were 7lbs each and 20 inches long (40 inches of baby will stretch you!) I have had one 10lbs baby as well.
I have lost 15lbs so far, and am seeing a reduction in the stomach area - will be interested to see what it looks like when I hit 130lbs.0 -
Please girl tell me your secret how did you do it??0

I am so inspired. After my first I lost all the baby weight and another 15 lbs (125 at 5' 3") and couldn't lose the belly. I was starting to think it wasn't possible. I can live with stretch marks and a c-section scar but losing the belly pouch would be great.0

AMAZING! No surgery? Or yes?
I see you colored in your tattoos as well. Your body is truly a work of art in more ways than one! Congratulations on your baby, your beautiful art, and your hard work for that awesome body!:flowerforyou:0 -
You are all giving me hope that I might be able to save myself $7000 of surgery! I have had 11 kids - one set of twins in there and no c-sections (thank God). But 11 kids stretched me out. The twins were the smallest at 20 inches each and 6 lbs 10 oz and 6 lbs 6 oz each. The others ranged from 7 lbs to 10 lbs.
I weighed 175lbs at my heaviest non-pregnant weight, and I am now 159lbs. I have another 29lbs to go. My stomach was the most saggy, with the dreaded overhang. It is starting to diminish and I will be interested to see what it looks like once I have attained my goal weight. I consulted a plastic surgeon and he is the one who quoted me $7000 for a tummy tuck.0 -

YEAH for big families!!! I have 9 kids. My youngest is 4 months old. Mine have all been vaginal births. My last one was a home birth in a birthing pool. Totally awesome!0 -
Wow all you ladies look AMAZING!! You have all given me hope that I can get rid of my massive "over hang/apron" that is the result of over eating, being lazy and 2 pregnancies.0

Wow, this thread is awesome! I've gave birth to 5 boys within a 7 year time-span. I'm about 5'7 and was 180 at my heaviest. I still have more to lose but I promise to have a success story to post here in 8 weeks!0
