    When you say "cut in half"- do you cut them long-ways or short-ways? I am thinking it would effect the melt time. Thanks!

    If you're a vegetarian then why are you eating parmesan cheese? It's made using calf rennet (an enzyme that they have to kill the baby cow in order to extract). Whilst most cheeses are made using plant rennet and therefore suitable for vegetarians, parmesan cheese is not.
