No timeframe, no goal weight, when jiggly things that shouldn't jiggle don't then I am there.0

I would like to hit my goal weight by May 31, 2013. My son graduates the first week in June and I want to be a better version of myself.0

I'd like to be at my goal by Dec 16 My 21st birthday! 40 lbs, 5 months....0

My sister is getting married in May of next year, and I have to be a bridesmaid XP . . .0

thats great that you set yourself a reasonable goal to achieve in a healthy way (I Ib a week 'they' say) I think you'll do great! good luck.. where my downfall came was always in preparation for a specific event.. like a ticking time bomb lol. For me it was just better to think in terms of food (what i want to stop and start eating more of) and exercise (dash amounts of times a week).0

Need to hit mine by October 10th. Not sure what will happen if i don't get to mine since i need to lose the weight for a D.O.T physical for my current job.0

Before I die.0

My goal is 100 pounds more by Christmas 2013, which is my 40th birthday! I will then be smaller then I was in high school!0
-
I was worried about it at first but now I measure my success by my performance and haven't weighed myself in a long time.0

Lose remaining 6 ( I might go up to 10 ) pounds by August 15th.0

When I first started out, I started a 12 week program and somewhat arbitrarily said that I will lose 20 lbs by the end of the 12 weeks. I also made other goals which were not weight related.
As long as the goal(s) are realistic and healthy nothing wrong with it. Just don't use it as an excuse to do extreme things just to hit the target by the date. Also, consider setting goals that are not driven by scale weight. That's a very crude indicator of progress.0 -
I have a few goals....My first is to loose another 15.5 by Aug 31 for Vegas and my next is to be at 83 lbs lost total by March of 2013 for my wedding. I am going to readjust my goals again next March.0

The only goals I am really setting for myself now is clothes sizes. I have really decided (to a certain degree anyway) that I do NOT care what number shows up on the scale as long as I like the way I look and my clothes fit....then I don't care what my weight is. I and the good lord are the only ones who know what number is there. For me, this is about getting healthy, not skinny so the number is really irrelevant.0

I would like to lose 25 pounds by the start of September, and overall lose it all by December, maybe early November.0

I didn't aim to hit it by a specific date, but I hit my goal on my 39th birthday. That was sweet. :happy:0

Initially, I wanted to hit 140 by August 3rd, but it was unrealistic, given my metabolism issues. Now, I have no date and I just want everything in the right place more than I want to be a certain number0

YES I wish to lost all of it by the time I graduate which I think is stretching it a bit that would be in April so it is possible! I have a little over 60 to lose. But being in school there are always a few set backs but that is life. If not by then I am aiming for next October my 21st birthday!0

Not really. I would like to be healthy by my 10 year reunion. And that's 5 years away. Even if I only ever lost 1 pound a week and plateaued a lot that would still give me plenty of time as long as I stick with it.0

I set a date that represented 1 pound of weekly weight loss.
Standing there after losing only 10 pounds at 262 lbs meant I had a climb that would take 70 weeks.
That was a year and a half...
It was depressing. And it actually took me a little over 2 years.
At the end of the road all I can say is that is was worth it.
Life transformed!
And now, I am setting new, higher goals.
Don't allow anything to stop you. Always just KEEP PUNCHING!
Never say die, and keep your eyes on the reward of great health where you look good, feel great and live well.
ALL IS POSSIBLE!0 -
I am attempting to lose 120-130lbs by Summer 2013.0

I wanted to lose it all yesterday.. but otherwise I have no set goal. One day at a time. :P0

I don't have a specific date for my final goal, but I did want to be back under 200lbs by my 20th birthday, which is in 2 weeks. I made it! I'm going to try work out a few other mini-goals to keep me focused. It seems much easier to say I want to lose 10lbs over a shorter time frame than "I want to lose 40lbs overall"0

I want to lose 10 lbs a month for the next 8 months to reach my goal weight of 245...so, in a way I guess I'm looking to lose by a specific date (March 20, 2013). But in the long run, if I don't hit that date I'm not really going to sweat it. I'm at the point where I just feel like everything's clicking, so whatever I lose, I lose.0

I don't have a time limit for my altimate goal. But I did give myself a mini goal of losing 35 pounds by my birthday in september. When I set the goal, I was down 16 pounds 72 days after I started. My birthday was in 73 days, and I wanted to lose an additional 19 pounds. A very reasonable goal given past success.
My ulimate goal will take me almost 3 years at my current rate. There is no way I want to set a date for that.0 -
I'm trying to lose weight before I hit 50 in October.0

I want to lose all mine by my birthday, August 19.0

I have 50 more to go and want to lose it by the end of the year. I want to ring in 2013 at my goal weight!0
-
I picked October 1st as my date because I want to get a Versalette (which is my reward for meeting my goal) before I start my year of travel!0
