Build a tree fort in our yard

I could help, it wouldn't be that hard.

    1. Full college ride for all 3 kids. (We have funds started already, but this would just cap it off before we planned)

    2. Pay off House.

    3. Reface said house

I don't think our lifestyle would change much. We might have a better yearly vacation but really...we're very happy as we are.

I'd find out which countries would now allow me to apply for citizenship based on my newly acquired wealth. Then I'd move. Any family member who wanted to live on my million would be welcome to move with me. The money would go a lot farther and I want out of here anyway.

Pay off mine and my families bills
    Buy myself a house
    Buy a new car

On a side note if I had more than a million dollars I'd buy myself a private island and hire some hot men wearing nothing but loin cloths and have them cater to my every need. Hey a girl can dream can't she. Like my mamma always told me Amanda if you are gonna dream dream big.

If we had one million dollars...

Before spending anything we'd take a vacation and consult with a really good investment consultant then

Pay off the house, get new car for my dh and decent ones for the teens to drive, give % to charity or a my son's high school that is really tiny and old and needs to be rebuilt and invest the remainder for education for myself and the kids. With 5 kids, I'm envisioning it costing over $150,000 for them to attend a four year college plus at least two are saying they want their master's.... I would say I'd help my family but my parents are financially secure as are my inlaws and my bro/sis would probably accept gifts but not of money.

    Here's a buzz-kill: if you earn a 4% annual rate of return on $1M, you'll take home $40k, pre-tax.

Not quite enough to retire and live on for the next (hopefully) 50 years...

Guess my husband will still have to work after I quit!
