nice to see a few other 3k+ people here, i didn't know we had that many of us :noway: i am and have been eating everything all day long and somehow end up with around 3300 every day, not sure how it works out like that but every day last week i didn't care what calories i took in,i just ate and logged it, every day was 3300something exept one day i had 3500something, i feel much better than when i ate 1200 calories a day and i'm not gaining weight! :noway: hope you other people can realize you can eat more and lose some day soon,it's helpful and easy
  • Mine is set to 1550. But I exercise daily and make sure my net is at least 1400.

    2630.

Been figuring out how to build muscle and burn fat, but I decided to bulk and cut to see how it goes. Currently lifting. My TDEE at my age, height and weight is only like 1870. I don't weigh a lot, so I need to put on the weight lol.

I've already forgotten my net because I make sure to exercise enough that I get at least 1500 calories minimum per day (BMR is estimated at 1350). Usually, I eat a total of 1500-1800 a day.

1900 - 2200 depending if it's an exercise day or a rest day.

If you want to look a bit more into it I really like this Calculator -

I'm set at 1500 (25/45/30) but I'll eat as much as 1700 on strength training days and not feel guilty. I don't eat back excercise calories. Had things set differently and my weight loss stalled. At these settings, the scale is moving slow and steady.

If your body is telling you it's hungry, you have to listen.

Average about 1600. I'll eat as low as 1200 and as high as 2500 depending on exercise. Been slowly losing and focusing on maitaining.

I aim for 1750 cals/day for a one pound/week weight loss. I am a dance instructor so I have my activity level set to very active, and I don't track my dance classes as exercise or "eat back" any calories for it.

Around 1600-1700 a day. I haven't been exercising much while I get my eating under control, but when I do, I'll probably eat about 1/3 of my exercise calories in addition.

I'm at 1200 cals a day. I don't make a point of eating back my daily activity calories; but I do make a point of eating back my exercise calories. MFP subtracts 500 cals day for a 1 lb/week loss, which is what I aim for; but if there is an additional deficit of ***under*** 500 cals a day, I don't worry about it. Only once did I not make my 1200 and that was because I was sick and could not keep anything down. I figure that was an acceptable exception :-)

    2250 net.

I was at 1700-1900 per day when I was losing.
  • I consume 1400-1900 calories a day. The higher amount of calories reflects the ones allotted because of exercise. Without exercise, I can have 1550 calories a day.

I'm 6'2 and net around 1200 a day. I've lost 1.5-2.2lbs a week steady for the past few months.

When I was working really hard to get the wait off I never went over 1200. Since I am almost to my goal if just depends on the day. I have always had a loss each week when I weight in.

1600. I just increased mine about 2 weeks ago from 1300-1400.

It depends ..and changes ..based on my goals. I'm currently eating 1800-2200. 1800 on rest days, 2200 on workout days. I'm taking a break from focusing on scale losses and am concentrating on training for strength. I've actually gained a bit since September, but lost BF%. Plan on going back to deficit and altering workouts a bit in February. Will eat 1700-1800. My average TDEE is 2200.

I'm at 1,330/day, though with exercise my net cal intake is less. I started at 1,200 in October and lost 6 pounds in 1 week, which is awesome, but a little scary lol, so I upped it to 1,330--you'd be surprised how much better you feel if you add as little as 100 calories to your day.

MFP set me at 2300 to lose 0.5lb/week with a sedentary lifestyle. I often eat under, more like 1700 and am losing and not hungry. Even when I have a week of eating just under 2300, I still lose although not as fast :)
