    I am in for this month! I set my mileage goal for 60 miles. This is the first month of my training for the Women's Running Magazine Half Marathon. Boy, do I have a super long way to go. Gulp!

  • I'm in for the first time this month. I'm going to count my running only, to start. Maybe next month I'll add in my walking, too. Looking forward to running 60 miles in the month of August! :)

    ETA: Oh, and I'm already nearly 3.5 miles in... :)

    I am in for the month of Aug - I decided since I am on vacation for almost half this month I will take 31 days and at least walk 31 miles.

    Ok, I am in for August. I haven't been hitting my goals lately but I don't want to lower it even more so I am going to try for 60 miles again this month. I was definitely doing better when the weather was nice and I could stand to walk outside.

    First ride of the month, flat tire in 15 minutes and had to walk the rest of the way to work. Got my 4.5 miles in, but a hard way to do it.

    @Spacialized: You deserve a star for this really bad first day in the challenge!

    Welcome to the old and new members. This challenge is now into its 22nd consecutive month :glasses:

    Regarding the ticker question: Most of the people here use www.tickerfactory.com. After you prepare your ticker, you have to copy the bbcode and paste it in your post.

    You will not be able to see the August sheet today. We're still in July.

    Remember that after 500 posts (or 20 pages) the thread skips to another address. There will be a link <continued at this topic> , follow it. I'm telling you now as we keep losing people who can't find the continuation of the topic.

    Does that mean, especially since we are competing against our own goals, that if i can calculate aproximate miles that, say Zumba has me moving, that woudl count?

    In July I did 83 Miles. This month my goal is 90, which may be hard because I'm spending a week on a sweltering hot island! But anyway, I'm just going to count jogging and running.
