Here is this weeks weighin. I pared it down a bit to just the weights I received, so if you are not on this list and want to be, please send me your weight!!   We are doing great!

What should our challenge be this week. Let's continue the pushups--if you like but add something else like food logging, getting more water, vegies or the like.

Oh, I think it is awesome that as a team we have lost 79 lbs!! How great is that??:drinker: :smokin: :glasses: Some of us had start weights that were higher--should we change those to reflect the accomplishments everyone has made in their journey, or keep it to what we have? Your choice.

I am proud to be a beautiful blue!! (even though I don't care for the actual biggest loser blue team much this season)

I don't think it's a bad idea to have our "starting weight".

Then we can all see how far we've come, and how much we as a blue team has lost in total.

Might help boost some people. Can't see it being negative ?

Good Job everyone! I like the idea of challenging to lose a pound. I don't like to not complete a challenge, so maybe it'd get my butt in gear.

Chrissy--That's awesome that you ran 5 miles. How long have you been running and how long could you run when you started? Do you enjoy it or just do it for exercise? Just wondering.

Hope you are all having a beautiful day! :flowerforyou:

when I don't go to the gym, I find that I don't feel like drinking water. Just an interesting thought. Thank you all for losing weight together, this definitely motivates me to keep going on my weight loss journey.

If I don't exercise I don't drink enough either. I have a water bottle that goes with me. It makes a big difference.

almomay welcome to the beautiful blues!

I am still slacking on water-only 32 oz so far...

pshook - I run for the victory of it - knowing I can....fun...can't say that - I enjoy the peacefulness of it...I started couch to 5k in May, finished it in July - first 5k was Oct 3 - did another Oct 17 and have 2 more scheduled - Oct 31 and Nov 14...I am doing a half marathon training program that I got from runners world.com - I am in week 4 of 16 weeks. I am not fast but I am all about the fact that I am doing it not how fast. When I started I couldn't run 1/16 of a mile or 1/4 lap at the college and look at me now.....you've got to want to do it!

The current starting weight is the one from Rach's template before. I just copied everything she had. For those who have added on it is the first weight they gave me.

Bad News.... I am down and out for a few days. My husband and I got the flu  Yup, the fever, the aches, the migraine and nausea. I can't even think about exercising right now. In fact, I could barely get in 650 cals of food yesterday. My husband says I must stay in bed to rest. Lucky for him, his fever broke last night and he is feeling slightly better.

Anyway, I'll keep nursing the liquids and get in as much food as I can. Keep on trucking blues! I'll be back on the weight loss horse soon!

Hope yall have a great weekend

I was sore for three days this week from shred level 1, and to think I am wanting to do it again today?:noway:

Taradise--wish you well on the flu, it really stinks!! Down some Vitamin C it helps your immune system and get plenty of rest and fluids. Don't worry about calories as it will work itself out. You just need to get better.

Chrissy I hope your son gets better soon. 5 days of fever would scare me so I hope it has broken! The major complication with the flu according to our doctor is a secondary bacterial infection, such as pneumonia or ear infections. To avoid the pneumonia make sure he is coughing and deep breathing. When we had the flu it settled deep in our chests and the coughing, humidifier and breathing deep were my priorities! Hope this isn't TMI I get on tangents...

Happy weekend and Halloween everyone. I can't believe October is almost over! :flowerforyou:

Phew!! Finally sitting with my feet up!! I was on the move from 9-3 today!! I went to step class this morning - 360 cals burned & then grocery shopping with 2 kids, came home, put it all away & cleaned the house! I am so done!!
I rented the new Transformers movie, hopefully me & the hubby can settle in for a nice movie night!!

Taradise & Chrissy - I hope that you & your families are feeling better soon!! :flowerforyou:

Smagdag - great job on the Shred & getting all your water in!

Have a great weekend everyone - not a WEAK-end!! Keep strong & let's all have a loss this weigh in!

    I hope you feel better.

I didn't even work out as much as I hap planned this week, but it's okay. I'm starting again this week. I logged all my foods though- and that helped me feel conscious of what I ate. Some weeks are just not good.

    Have a great weekend all!!!!!

So our fever broke after 24 hrs. I'm pretty sure we didn't have H1N1 but maybe just a regular flu. I am feeling much better but not 100%. At least my appetite is coming back. I'll take it slow for now.

Chrissy - I really feel for your son now. After having a fever for just 1 full day, I now remember how terrible they are and how they effect your entire body. I felt so much better after the fever broke. I can't imagine having a fever for 5 straight days. I really hope your son's fever breaks soon.

    Happy Halloween Beautiful Blues!

I went to the gym today, although I didn't feel all that motivated to go. But I'm glad I went, since it helps me start off my week.

Hope you all have a good week!

I'm going to go to anytime fitness and see how much my insurance will pay to go there. From what I heard as long as I go twice a week my insurance will cover it. So we will see. I'm sure I can find a reason to go to town twice a week.

So how did everyone do over the candy and sweet treats filled holiday?

I let myself down a little on Halloween. My husband and I felt so much better, we went to a small halloween gathering. I had a few to many sweets... dirt pudding and 2 donut hole eyeballs not to mention the 7 lay dip and spinach dip with crackers. Oh well. I did fine on Sunday. I'll be back in the gym tonight to make up some of those cals.

    Good mornin people!!

So, glad that it's Monday! Again, the weak-end got to me!! It's going to be a long week of beatings as Jillian Michaels would say!! I really want some sort of loss this week!!

Taradise, enjoy your time at the gym & good for you on behaving on Sunday. It's sometimes so easy to just throw the whole weekend away!! You'll be great!!

So, I had to exchange yet another top to the store! I just can't get it into my head that I wear a small now!! This time last year I was wearing L & XL tops & 14 pants. This year I'm wearing Smalls & 4-6 pants & dresses!! It just blows me away! It's been a great year!

Have a great day & work, work, work!!!

Fitness to me isn't about a crunch or a push up, it's about taking your power back.
    - Jillian Michaels

I found my inspirational quote for the week!! I got to get my "power back"!! I just added this quote to my signature so that I can look at it all week!! And so can you guys!! LOL!!

Ran my 3rd 5k this weekend - cut over 2 minutes off from 2 weeks ago - finished in 34:28...my goal was under 35 so I did it!!! Seemed to overly reward myself though - I really HAVE to log my food throughout the day - yesterday was the worse day I've had in a long time....nothing was satisfying me (except those cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster:noway: ) Today is a new day and a new week - yesterday is behind me! Here's to a great week for everyone! :drinker:

I am going to the beach for the weekend - just me and hubby - lots of cocktail parties to attend, lots of seafood - I'll work it off though so I am really not concerned about any of that just really excited to go and get to run at the beach!

Great job Chrissy with the 5k!!!! Congrats on your best time! Enjoy the beach!!

smadag1 - yard work definitely burns the calories and makes the muscles sore!!

sanifrey - love the new quote! It's so true!! Embrace the size S

I'll just call my Halloween splurge a "cheat" meal and move on. Life happens
