I have to say that I'm not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow just because it was opening of deer hunting and well I didn't eat the best at all. There was a lot of snacking. However we walk a lot so hopefully it will all workout in the end.0

Reminder to weigh in today!!
Today will mark the beginning of our Biggest Loser challenge! No playing around anymore! Time to get serious so the Beautiful Blue Team will be triumphant!!! :drinker:
Send your weight to Debnu as usual and we'll go from there.
Today I am going to miss the gym due to a birthday celebration at a friends house this evening. I planned out my meals to fit in the food, so I hope I can stick to my plan today!!0 -
Great time with hubby at the beach - now back to reality and back to doing what I should. I did make smarter choices eating out than in years past but still too much food and drink...not worried will work it all off. Not weighing til next week so we'll see what the damage is then....0

Mornin all
I got a new Wii game to help me break this stupid plateau. I am now doing the Golds gfym cradio workout and it was so much fun. I am going to enjoy the boxing that it will teach me to do. I will probably do that tonight with maybe the shred or something else.
I have got to get strickt with myself again I have not done my best and the is making me mad at myself. Maybe this new challange will be the kick in the butt I need.I don't want to let my team down.0 -
Good morning all,
I'm feeling pretty good this morning, got to the gym early and am now back home ready for my day. Will be doing homework for my masters program I'm currently doing.
Hope everyone has a nice day!0 -
:flowerforyou: Good morning all
Don't forget to weigh in!! I have 5 weights currently.
Chrissy--are you wanting to be part of the challenge? I can leave you off the challenge list if you like, or just put your last Weigh in.
I have to admit that I was not good at all over the weekend. I rather did my last chance at eating bad thing. I am also paying for it today--not too badly really--not good either though.
Good luck this week. My plan is to step it into high gear. I am now putting on my HRM to go attack the treadmill.
My big goal is to log everything today!! Feel free to check up on me...

Thanks Deb! Hoping to be able to run again this week - may end up with hours on the elliptical - my knee went on lock down after my 5 mile run last wednesday was able to run 1.5 Saturday....we were at my hubby's work awards banquet and they did a fit walk/run sat morning...my hubby went fishing but I did it anyway without him not knowing all the people there....never would have done that a year ago.....I was the first girl to finish!!!! Very cool feeling....then at the actual awards banquet ceremony, the owners son spoke and spoke about me and what I'd accomplished over the past year....I could see the pride in my hubbys face - I was walking on water! He laughs that he trys to lay low - under the radar and here I go running with the owners, CEOs and such! At least I made a good impression!0

Chrissy, you are amazing! You deserve every bit of praise you get!!!:drinker:  I don't know that I would have gone to my husbands work thing without him either--you rock! Especially since you were the first female finisher--I bet you didn't think you would ever be able to say that. Congratulations!!  :flowerforyou:0

Thanks Deb - keeps me working hard to reach my goals! Maybe next year I'll just finish first overall!0 -
I am goin to make a change and see if it helps me break this plateau. I am going to set me alarm clock to get up 30 minutes earlier ( I am soooo not a morning person so this will be tough) and get some kind of workout in )probably my WIi) before I start my day. On my lunch I will try to walk for the entire hour. Then when I get home I will do either the shred or eliptical. Wish me luck this is going to be a challange.0

smadag1 - great way to challenge yourself!!! I hope the extra workout helps you hop over the plateau. Let us know how you are doing everyday.
chrissyh - I agree. You deserve all the praise! You inspire everyone around you.
I haven't heard from the person who proposed the Biggest Loser challenge. I emailed her earlier. I'll keep my eyes open to see what our next instruction will be. Keep sending in your weights!
Make it a great day Blues! :flowerforyou:0 -
So, I haven't been participating as much as I should. :frown: I've been stressed and working constantly. I'm a Public Information Specialist by day and a News Editor and Freelance writer by ... any other time of the day or night. lol  Busy!!!! But, this week I am getting back on track. I want to lose 8 more pounds by Thanksgiving so that I can tell my family I've lost 50 pounds!! I can SO do this. I just have to try harder. I've pretty much stalled out and am stuck at 238 pounds. I know it's because I haven't been exercising like I should ... haven't been getting enough sleep ... I just want to step on that scale this Saturday and see five pounds gone. Possible? I don't know... but I'm definitely going to try!!!!
I've been working on losing weight for almost a year now. 42 pounds down ... makes me feel good and bad ... I was hoping to be 100 pounds down in a year and I'm sure I could have been if I would've tried harder. But that 42 pounds will NOT be coming back.0 -
Craaaaaap! I forgot about the new Monday weigh-in! If you are making the chart, just use my last number. Thank you.
Today, I had a great 45min walk at lunch. So, I am getting back on track. I went grocery shopping last night and got salad mix, cuccumbers, skinless chicken breast, brocolli, green beans and a bunch of other healthy foods to get me back on track with my eating. So, now I have the tools, my will power is on go and this is going to happen. If I have to cut open my stomach and suck out the fat with a dirt devil, I will be skinny!!!!
Happy Monday!!!!0 -
shutterbug--good timing, I got you!
